About this listen
Lady Calliope Manning is determined to punish the man she holds responsible for her beloved brother’s death.
She will do anything in her power to destroy him. When rumors swirl that the Earl of Sinclair requires a wealthy bride to rescue himself from dire financial straits, she seizes the opportunity to ruin him at last.
Justin “Sin” Vaughn, the Earl of Sinclair, needs to marry an heiress, and he needs to marry one now. But the sudden, anonymous publication of salacious memoirs rumored to be his obliterates his chances. With polite society convinced he is a murderer, he has only one choice: Find the person behind his supposed memoirs and get his revenge.
Callie never expected Lord Sinclair to discover she wrote Confessions of a Sinful Earl...nor to abduct her and demand restitution in the form of her own hand in marriage. She definitely did not expect to find him so difficult to resist.
Sin is about to teach the beautiful, perfidious Lady Callie a lesson in ruthlessness one scorching-hot kiss at a time.

Two narrators
First time listening to an audio book with two narrators. Took a while to get used to it as when they were doing the opposite characters voices it was a bit strange. Liked the story though and will give the next one in the series a go. Thanks for the freebie audible!

A delightful tale of abduction and redemption
Lady Calliope Manning is determined to punish the man she holds responsible for her beloved brother’s death.
Justin "Sin" , Earl of Sinclair, having been ruined due to Callie's publication, decides to abduct, teach her a lesson and get his revenge.
This is a delightful romp with two great characters, who I really warmed to, so much so that "Sin" is my latest #BBF.
I love how they have to work through their mistrust of each other, find out the truth and eventually realise how much they love each other. it made me feel all warm inside.
The only downside was the narration. Both narrators were good but I would have preferred John Lane to be the only one, as I found it distracting, particularly when Olivia read the male parts.
Well done Scarlett! You’ve done it again!

Up and down
Although this was the usual Scarlett Scott type book I would have been much more impressed if the whole thing had been narrated by John Lane. I found Olivia Thompson's portrayal of the deep husky tones of Sin poor but worse was the voice of Lady Jo, so deep and lacking in expression but was boring.

Good style - steamy story!
I preferred the male narrator but I liked the idea of having 2 readers. The idea of excerpts from Calliope’s book was a good one.

Pleasantly surprising
Very good narration which I wasn’t sure about at first, but I’m very glad I stuck with it.
Great story line with some good dialogue and descriptions

Story was OK
I enjoyed the book but there wasn't much of a story. I enjoyed all the love scenes which were quite a few and nice and spicy.
John Lane aka Tim Campbell was brilliant as always but the female narrator ruined the book in my opinion. I would have preferred it if John Lane narrated it all. I can't understand, if a duo is narrating, why the female doesn't read just the female dialogue and the male narrator reads the male dialogue, what's the point of having a male and a female otherwise. Olivia Thompson's male voice was awful, he sounded evil and cruel and she did make him sound like a killer. Also it's a though they're are four Mason characters in the story instead of two with the 2 different voices they had. And Jo her friend sounded weird. I like it when there's a duo narrating but only when the female narrates the female dialogue and the male narrates the male dialogue. Otherwise I don't see the point of having a duo
I hope the narratiin will be OK with the next book. Pity John Lane isn't narrating it.

Standard but enjoyable story
I'm not really a fan of having multiple narrators and especially in this case - John Lane should've read it all! His chapters were a well read & his voice is a pleasure to listen to. By comparison, the other chapters were just awkward; had she been the only narrator, I suspect this wouldn't be the case.

Awful narration
Mediocre, overly dramatic story with overdone, overly dramatic narration. I didn't get past Chapter 5.
