Story
Sandybridge is the perfect English seaside town: home to gift shops, tearooms and a fabulous fish and chip shop. And it's home to Grace - although right now she's not too happy about it. Grace grew up in Sandybridge, helping her parents sort junk from vintage treasures, but she always longed to escape to a bigger world. And she made it, travelling the world for her job, falling in love and starting a family. So why is she back in the tiny seaside town she'd long left behind, hanging out with Charlie, the boy who became her best friend when they were teenagers?

Story
Ava loves city life, but when something happens to make her feel unsafe, she retreats to the calm and quiet of Bluebell Wood. The once high-flying Ava now locks herself away in her fairy-tale cottage, only leaving to explore the trails of the nearby woods or to potter in the garden with her dog, Merlin. When Ava begins to feed the wild birds that flock to her bird table, they start leaving her trinkets of appreciation in return. The gifts seem innocent at first, but they soon take on a deeper meaning.

Magical story
I really enjoyed this book, it was a joy from start to finish. I enjoyed the characters, and a nice touch was finding out about characters from previous books. This was a great story and I found myself wanting to find out more and more. This is a feel good story, that makes you smile.

Great story
I was unsure to begin with reading this book it’s beginning is similar to another book I have read by Ali McNamara, however I soon got over this as I was drawn into the lives of all the characters both past and present. The inclusion of characters from previous books is always a pleasure and the continuation of their stories enhanced the story adding colour and flavour. The main characters were well developed and likeably human both flawed and well meaning. The story developed gently and ended with you feeling both happy in present and past stories. It was a really great book

Ridiculous
I was looking forward to reading more of this quaint Cornish harbour town. I expected the book to be a bit quirky as the previous were but it was ludicrous. I loved the previous books but this was boring and the characters annoying. I listen to audio in the sunshine and bed times but kept sleeping and missing whole chapters and not noticing. Disappointed.
