Fascinating
A thoughtful and well -written story of those who worked to safeguard Ireland and its neutrality during World War 2 and what happened to them afterwards. it's s great performance too

Another piece of the jigsaw, another unsung hero
I am an avid reader of Second World War political and military history, particularly Intelligence, and even more so, those areas as yet untold or overlooked. This is such a book. For obvious reasons to those who know about or islands this story - one of outstanding vision, belief, astuteness and fortitude - this story has remained in the shadows. Mr McMenamin’s curious it’s, own fortitude and access to previously hidden records is the basis of an amazing account of the tightrope journey the Republic of Ireland walked through the SWW, and since. We’ll-balanced, not sticking doggedly to chronology means this well-researched account is easy to listen to (in my case, in just three days, such is the interest). Many elements of SWW are written, revisited and rewritten, this one is a total original. As such, it is an excellent read, which should be read by many, including us British. Thank you Marc. Stuart
