the narrator was putting me to sleep and was robotic. the content of the actual book is ok but I'm struggling to get through the first chapter listening to the narrator

Short and sweet book
Loved it. Listened to it all in one evening in bed before sleep. Made sense 100%. Felt more confident in making the decisions for me. Great book and beautifully written

Thought provoking
This is not a book for Audible, at least not for me. There are many wise and thought provoking passages in this book, however the issue for me is that each verse, poem and thought last a few seconds with the odd one or two lasting around a minute. As a result, you either wizz through them and miss the point or benefit of each or pause after each one stretching an hour long book into who knows how long.
So, in short this is not the type of book that expands on a point/topic and builds in a way you can continue to listen too, rather it contains many short passages that requiee deep contemplation and thus requires a specific type of listening/interaction if you are to benefit fully from the lessons there in!
