About this listen

An eminent scientist and pioneer in the discovery of retroviruses challenges the widely accepted belief that HIV is the cause of AIDS. Duesberg argues that HIV is merely a harmless passenger virus that does not cause AIDS. Sure to spark intense debate, this provocative book offers an original and incisive critique of the rise and fall of HIV.

Editor reviews

For all the wonders and advancements the science world has given us, scientists can sometimes fall into the trap of consensus beliefs, which is exactly what's at the heart of Peter H. Duesberg's Inventing the AIDS Virus. Known for his cancer research, Duesberg, in this audiobook, challenges the wildly held view that HIV is the cause of AIDS. Accomplished narrator, J. Arthur Tripp, handles the challenging text with the appropriate aggression needed for this controversial subject matter. Listeners are sure to be intrigued by this lesser-heard side of the AIDS discussion.

This book was the reason I joined Audible, as hard copies were expensive. Even though it was written nearly 30 years ago it's still so relevant to the world of today. Anyone critical of the way the world handled COVID will find solace in this book. Although new to Audible I find there are certain books I'd like to listen to but don't because the narration grates. The narration on this book is fast paced and well suited to the content.

Written in 1996. could've been written in 2022 to describe exactly what happened with covid! Please read "The Real Anthony Fauci" by Robert F Kennedy Jr. It's basically the same play!! These corrupt officials need holding to account for the deaths and destruction they've forced on this world. Only by reading books like these will people hear the truth whilst for everyone else the truth continues to be hidden!

Mind blowing insight!

after living with HIV for the last 19 years I did find this book very interesting and very informative. it is all about having a good life still and keeping your immune system in a good working condition. could drugs play a big part of people who live with HIV going on to develop AIDS. I'll let you know in the future. very good book
