Paranormal Romance

Into The Shadows by Jenn D Young is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Tim Pagie.

This is the first book of Jenn’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning. The book does end on a cliffhanger but that wasn’t a surprise since it is the first book in the trilogy. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Out Of The Shadows to be released on audio so I can get more of Lorelei and Vincent’s story.

Sarah and Tim did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life.

I would recommend this book if you love Paranormal Romances.

Fantastic paranormal story!

“This was an incredible story!! Sarah and Tim did an incredible narration. The way they portrayed Lorelaei and Vincent gave me all the feels. There’s something quite special about audiobooks and the connection you feel with the stories. Lorelei was insane lol in a good way. Love a character that becomes more mature as the story continues. VICNENT, sweet Lord, he was perfect and just one of a kind that’s all I’m gonna say about him.”

So much happening!

What a fantastic story that is fast moving and fascinating. I loved the integration of so many different types of species- demons, nephilims, angels, vampires, etc. The story is rich, full of detail and new details just whet the interest in what's happening and what WILL happen. It is book 1 of a trilogy so there is a cliffhanger and while i loved the narration by Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige, I don't know if I can wait for the next audiobook to find out what happens! haha

Seriously, Sarah Puckett, with her beautiful soothing voice was perfect to play Lorelei across the years. She infused her role with emotion which was necessary because of everything Lorelei had to go through. So she was a fantastic pick for the narrator. Tim Paige is always excellent and did a great job playing the multiple characters. Overall, I really liked the audiobook and look forward to the next one!

The complete package.

I am a huge fan of paranormal romance but, I am hard to please because I listen to so many. Into The Shadows delivered on all fronts, it deals with various breeds of the paranormal/ supernatural and the characters have such a well developed history that is relevant to the present. I loved the story and the journey that it took me on. I loved how there was always something new to learn so this fantasy world felt seamless to absorb myself within.
I have listened to many books narrated by Sarah Puckett and she is a phenomenal voice actor. Tim Paige was a relatively new discovery for me, but his voice acting throughout this book has been one of my favourites of all male narrators. I feel that both narrators were a great choice for Ms Youngs brilliant storytelling.
I need the next book in this series and I need it now.

This is my 1st book by jenn d young and wow loved every minute if it the story was amazing and the narrateds voices was wow I can’t wait to get book 2 and 3 this was not just your run of the mill supernatural romance book this is awesome.

Good Start To An Interesting New Series

This is the first part of a trilogy and the author spends some time setting the scene and introducing the characters starting with Lorelei's adolescence/teenage years and then to early adulthood. It's short but doesn't feel rushed and I enjoyed it. The story grabbed my attention and held it to the end. I liked the author's writing style and how she created a fascinating world with a fascinating variety of paranormal beings, including vampires, angels and demons. Lorelei whom we meet when she is a young girl is not aware of how special she is, she's been watched over for most of her life by Vincent her guardian angel, or should I say demon? Whatever he is he is her protector.

I enjoyed seeing the characters grow and strengthen, I liked the detailed world-building which still left me wanting to know more. I loved the connection Vincent and Lorelei shared and I am looking forward to seeing more of them in the next book of the series.

The narration was so well done by Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige they brought the characters to life perfectly. They worked so well together and are a pleasure to listen to.

Great beginning. Brilliant Narration

It was so good! I really couldn't put it down until I heard "Epilogue" which had me freaking out because I wasn't ready for the book to finish at that stage, just when things were getting serious...
So now I have to wait until the next one comes out on audio, because there's no way I will be left in the dark not knowing what's going to happen next.

The narration by Sarah Puckett and Tim Page was perfect, really great. I love both narrators and their performances were great.

Great debut!

I love Lorelei's and Vincent's story and can't wait to dive into the other books in this trilogy. Lorelei doesn't have much control over here life, but i like that her hardships don't break her spirit and that she stays string no matter what challenges she's thrown.
Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige do an excellent job portraying these characters and this is a great first book for Jenn D. Young.
