Summary
A shocking revelation could tear them apart...or open their eyes to a whole new world.
Olivia Cline has followed her husband to a new town, hoping for a fresh start after Derek’s affair with a coworker. But even before they move into their new home, tragedy strikes, and Derek is gone. With no job and precious little money, how will she cope? Going back to Chicago isn’t an option. Especially not after Olivia’s shocking discovery only weeks after Derek’s death. Her answer comes in a job posting - and the handsome, brooding artist who posted it.
Acclaimed artist Reed Vincent has recently regained his eyesight, thanks to a corneal transplant. But to help him through the transition, he needs an assistant in his studio. Olivia, an aspiring artist herself, is just what Reed was looking for. And easy on the eyes, too. Through Reed’s eyes, Olivia begins to see the possibilities before her. Before them. Until, in a flash of insight, she knows why his signature is so hauntingly familiar...The revelation could tear the couple apart...or open their eyes to a new journey from sorrow to joy.
This novel was originally published in 2009 under the same title. It has been updated from the original and includes an all-new epilogue!

I loved this book
I could not stop listening. I felt the pain of loss with Olivia and the shock and confusion. I felt the tenderness that Reed felt but was reluctant to show. The surprises keep you listening and tug at your heart. You won’t be disappointed with this book.

God’s Plan
New job, new house, new town. New beginnings.
Derek and Olivia Cline are moving from Chicago to Missouri. Derek took on a new job. They plan to start their family.
This book held my attention from the very start. Faith filled with God’s love.
Julie Lancelot is the perfect narrator for this book.

Not to be missed
I loved this story very much. A true life experience reflection. I gained a lot of INSIGHT as well in going through hurt. The narrator voice bought the story to life.

OK but I cringed in many places
The story is OK but some of the writing just seemed annoying and childish. The narrator was not my cup of tea in many parts . Her child's voice was nearly impossible to listen to. Maybe it is just me but I just got annoyed with the main character. Ah well, do what you will with this review. Although I finished it I am just glad it was free.

Really enjoyed this story and the narrator did a great job. Specially loved her child voice. This is the third book I read from Deborah Raney and the narrator. Looking forward to more.

Such a great story!
Enjoyed every moment listening to this book! Lots of thought provoking twists and turns. A big bonus for me is the noticeable lack of profanity.

Good story
I was very into the story. I didn’t understand why she made such a big deal about him being the donor recipient when it wasn’t his fault. She acted like he kept it a secret when he didn’t but in the end she made things clear.

Very sweet
What a tragic beginning to the story. Even though you could see where the story was going it was still beautifully done. Narration was really good too
