Story
Too many people, men and women alike, have bought into a notion of leadership that exclusively emphasizes traditionally "masculine" qualities: hierarchical, militaristic, win-at-all-costs. The result has been corruption, environmental degradation, social breakdown, stress, depression, and a host of other serious problems. Nilima Bhat and Raj Sisodia show us a more balanced way, an archetype of leadership that is generative, cooperative, creative, inclusive, and empathetic.

Your Soul's Plan (which was originally published under the title Courageous Souls: Do We Plan Our Life Challenges Before Birth?) explores the premise that we are all eternal souls who plan our lives, including our greatest challenges, before we are born for the purpose of spiritual growth. Through compelling profiles of people who knowingly planned the experiences mentioned above, Your Soul's Plan shows that suffering is not purposeless, but rather imbued with deep meaning.

In 1945 when the atomic bombs were dropped in WWII, our “protectors” and “watchers” in outer space saw that Earth was on a collision course with disaster. The prime directive of non-interference prevented them from taking any action, but then they came up with a brilliant plan to save Earth and assist her in her ascension. They couldn’t interfere from the “outside”, but maybe they could influence from the “inside”. So the call went out for volunteers to come and help. “Earth is in trouble - who wants to volunteer?”

Story
The history of the tablets translated in the following book is strange and beyond the belief of modern scientists. Their antiquity is stupendous, dating back some 36,000 years. The writer is Thoth, an Atlantean Priest-King, who founded a colony in ancient Egypt after the sinking of the mother country. He was the builder of the Great Pyramid of Giza, erroneously attributed to Cheops. In it he incorporated his knowledge of the ancient wisdom and also securely secreted records and instruments of ancient Atlantis.

This will involve a radical inner leap from the current egoic consciousness to an entirely new one. In illuminating the nature of this shift in consciousness, Tolle describes in detail how our current ego-based state of consciousness operates. Then gently, and in very practical terms, he leads us into this new consciousness. We will come to experience who we truly are and learn to live and breathe freely.

Summary
Are you an 'Indigo Adult Soul' and don't know it?
A new type of person is coming into incarnation right now, almost a 'next step' in human evolution. These people hold great hope for the future - the promise of a new humanity and civilization. They are visionary and creative, progressive and independent. They carry new energies and manifest different ways of thinking and feeling.
These people are called "Indigo," because the color indigo (the color seen in the "third eye") is unusually prominent in their aura. You may be familiar with the concept of "Indigo Children" and never realized that there are also Indigo adults...or that you might be one of them!
Do you feel different? Have your differences created unusual challenges and situations? Do you experience unusual sensitivities? Feelings of being separate or misunderstood? Frustrations and dissatisfactions with the "normal" world? A deep feeling, thinking, and introspective nature? A driving need to contribute to creating a better world? A powerful longing for something more?
"Indigo" Adults is rooted in the authors' personal experiences of the subtle dimension of life and reflects their explorations into the esoteric and mystic teachings of many traditions.
"Indigo" Adults will help you identity if you (or your children) are Indigos and understand yourself, and especially your purpose as an "Indigo" here on Earth more clearly.

Well-written and missing a major point
I will attempt to give the Cliff notes of my thoughts here: I had an NDE. As such, I came back in with very clear information. One of these bits of info was that many, many of the other entities in the Universe do not know the strict ‘male and female’ gender designations that we - especially Piscean Earthlings - employ here on Earth. As we move into the Aquarian Age, and closer to the planetary Ascension, many, many very evolved Souls are incarnating here to help the process. This is exactly why we are witnessing so many young people who identify as ‘non-binary,’ ‘gender-fluid,’ etc.. Compulsory CIS Hetero thinking is very Piscean. Couple this with those Piscean folks who (are misinformed) believe they ‘KNOW what God said!’.., ‘You’re not playing by The Rule Book!’, and you get some seriously tortured Indigos. I will call this what it is: The absolute BUMPER CROP of Indigo Souls resides in the LGBTQ+ community. Do they have problems? Most certainly. (Growing up being told that ‘God hates you,’ could potentially lead to dismay, (or suicide), but I digress.)
Honestly, I loved this book, believe it or not. The first half about the various species and their given attributes was very well done. I do believe that the authors are skilled and sensitive. I think this is why their omission of the LGBTQ+ community is so disconcerting. Whether it was from their own Piscean fear of ridicule, lack of knowledge, or ???, I do not know. I challenge them to do more research into the ‘highest per capita’ group of Indigo Souls on planet Earth. While this book will do many people great good in understanding who they are, regardless of their orientation, I am still left with the ‘Big Pink Elephant in The Room’ feeling. The Human family has never been entirely CIS Hetero, and will continue to be less and less so as we move forward. If you really Love Indigo Souls, as you seem to, you will hold my words in your Consciousness, my dear authors. Much Love to All.

Informative yet one sided
This book helped me get a good grasp on an introductory level to the world of being an Indigo Adult. However, it was completely one sided. Solely from the perspective of a cis male. Which is very unfortunate, given the fact that Indigos are the gateway to the "new human being", so I'm told. And there are sooo many people becoming more and more aware of the fluidity of our sexual nature.
