Beautiful story, fun narration

Absolutely amazing piece of animal fiction, engaging web of narratives that doesn't pull punches, yet stays kind and emotional at its heart. Mature, but doesn't get lost in allegory. Wasn't sure about the narrator at first, but their badger voice made me fall in love.
