Summary
Tasi, an 18-year-old, head-strong, blood-drinking, dhampyr, has been hidden away in a small town in Maine since the death of her parents. Though she had trained to fight and kill vampires, she never believed those skills would be useful in her mundane life. That’s where she’s wrong.

Wonderful narration!
I love vampire books and so was excited to listen to this book. I pretty much enjoyed this book. The romance blossoming between the main characters was interesting. You can feel their emotions. The tone perfectly matched the book.

A good read
This was very easy listening, the story was interesting, the characters were well structured. I personally would have liked a few more verbs to be used over the word "said", but it didn't detract from the story, just made me smile. Overall I found it a good read.
The narration was good, very easy to listen to & differentiate between characters, no annoying traits at all, which is quite rare these days.
Very happy with the overall experience & would recommend.

A fun vampire story with fantastic narration
A really fun listen. Full of interesting and compelling characters and a fleshed at story. Very strongly written. The narration was absolutely superb. Melissa White really bought each character to life both enjoying the fantastical nature while grounding them in reality. Clearly a very skilled actor. I hope to hear more from her in the future and will definitely pick up any book she is narrating!
