Summary

Down, Boy

Anna Moder has just witnessed a shooting, seen her car pulverized, and rescued a wounded stranger - only to discover he's really a werewolf. And by her recent standards, things are actually looking up. Lycanthropes don't faze Anna. Doctoring a wolf pack outside Grundy, Alaska, is the closest thing to home life she's known in years. But hitching a ride to Anchorage with long-absent pack member Caleb Graham - that's a risk. Part of her itches to whack his nose with a newspaper. The rest is trying unsuccessfully to keep her own paws off every delicious inch of him.

The problem is, Caleb employs his lupine tracking abilities as a not-quite-legal bounty hunter, and Anna is suspicious of both him and his profession. On the run from her past, with old problems closing in, she'd like to stay far, far away from anybody with connections to the law. Caleb, however, seems determined to keep her close. Are his intentions noble, or is he working a more predatory angle?

Anna's been dreaming of returning to a semi-normal life, but now she's experiencing a strange new urge. . . to join Caleb in running with the wolves.

Final book in the series

Again we meet new characters & still hear about ones we already met. Shame the series is over. Great series from the author & the narrator is great

The best one to date.

once I started listening to this book I couldn't stop. Had me hooked from beginning to end. Others have said this book is dark but it's not, it just real. I loved the fact that you really got to know and understand the characters and it was more about life than the use of any supernatural power to solve problems. If you have read any of Harper 's other books the twist at the end will make you smile. Damn good book.

Quirky, Funny & Sexy. Loved it!!!

This is the third book in the Naked Werewolf series.

Anna is running away from her abusive husband who won't divorce her and will do anything to get her back. The underground group she works with, placed her in Grundy, Alaska doctoring a pack of werewolves.

When she hears her husband is close to finding her again she runs. However Anna becomes a reluctant hero when she finds herself in front of a bullet wounded guy and her destroyed car. Her instincts make her help the wounded man - only to find that he is warewolf.

Caleb is an unorthodox bounty hunter who belongs to the same pack that Anna had worked with and has secrets of his own. He knows that Anna is on the run and does everything he can to get her to trust him. He gives her space while at the same time keeping her close as they strike out on a road trip together with adventures in bounty hunting.

They must deal with thir respective secrets and mistrust, but Caleb is determined to get past Anna's barriers.

Amanda Ronconi is a great narrator

Brilliant

Any additional comments?

I loved this book! It was so good from start to finish! I really loved both the characters Anna/Tina and Caleb, they were so good for each other even if they did hit a couple of bumps as their relationship progressed.

Tina (known as Anna to the pack) was on the run from a controlling, abusive ex-husband, shed been really happy as the pack's doctor but when she received an alert that her ex may have found her she ran cause she didn't want to drag the pack into her problems and was afraid of facing her abusive ex.

Caleb is a bounty hunter and cousin to our favourite werewolves Cooper, Maggie and Samson. He's been away from the valley for a few years now but still in regular contact with the pack so he's heard all about Dr Moder from Maggie.

I loved the banter between them and how close they got although they nearly didn't end up together cause of the secrets each of them were keeping but I'm so glad things worked out for them and that in the end she did trust in the pack to help her. I don't think her ex will be bothering her ever again!

I also loved the updates on the pack members and what was happening with the merging of the two packs and with the relationships we seen forged over the previous two books! I also loved he twist with who Tina's network contact Red-Burn was! I really hope we get more in this series

Brilliant as ever...

Would you consider the audio edition of How to Run with a Naked Werewolf to be better than the print version?

Definitely, the narrator is so good! She brings the characters to life!

What did you like best about this story?

Loved the links to the first 2 books, but the fact it was from another persons point of view.

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Energy! Her timing and tone are always spot on for the story line / character

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laughed a lot! Molly Harper books are so well written, funny, cheeky and dry!

I enjoyed it

Someone on here complained that this is book is less good than the others in the series because it is less fluffy and nice.
Even though I would argue that the other books sd flap have their serious notes, I know that trauma about domestic abuse can read differently.
All in all, I did enjoy it!
And it was lovely to get that small bit at the end to link this series to the Half Moon Hollow universe.
Though. Say what you want. It is weird that nobody ever really mentioned vampires existing!

Really good

I enjoyed all three books, it was nice following the various characters through each of the stories. This one was a bit more gritty dealing with domestic violence but it was also very enjoyable. Caleb was my favourite of the werewolves and I love Mo. I read the first two on kindle but the narration is really good so I might add that to the other two

Funny and a story to lift the spirit!

Amanda Ronconi brings these books to real life. The stories are amusing and easy to read/listen to but Amanda is the voice that brings it all together.

She is trying to not acknowledge that she is on the run from the wolf pack that took her in and that the man she has rescued from the might just be a werewolf.

another great read.

Another great read in the werewolf series.
A bit more serious, she's escaping domestic abuse and running and hiding from an abusive husband.
(be warned if this is a trigger. )
loved the story, the romance and the resolution.
