Effective

This book is good for both beginners and those who are public speakers already. This is what I love about the author, he always writes books not just for beginners but also for enhancing the skills of those who already have a background. I adore his skills in writing.

A cheap way to make a quick buck

I have never left a negative review before but this audio book was not informative and considering it was so short it still was able to comprise of a lot of useless information. I am disappointed that an author can regurgitate the same information and quote so many famous people to make the book last longer.

I can not recommend this book in anyway.

Research your topic. This is repeated about 3 times (maybe more).

perfection

A book that was honed by the mind of a fine and intelligent person. A book that deviates fear whenever you are given the chance to have any kind of speech in front of other people. This is something that needs better comprehension for a better application of the tactics of being a wise person in terms of public speaking.

Great tips

This is easily the best book about how to construct and prepare talks and presentation that I've read. I found a lot of useful information in this audio version and it was well explained. A great book to listen to, you must also see for yourself how great it is.

Life-changing

Ever since I learned what an introvert was I knew I was one, but used to wonder how I thrived as well as I did in social situations at times. But talking about public speaking, it hard for me to wash away the anxiety I have to speak in front of the crowd. This book gave me an idea on how to overcome the anxiety, I just need to apply it daily in real life.

I badly need this

I'm an introvert and I don't have the guts to speak loudly my opinion or whatever words I wanna say. I am scared that people will judge me or disagree with me. Mike Mitchell just stated one factor that causes anxiety and lack of confidence and he thoroughly explained the process of overcoming the problem as well. Hope it will work for me.

Expected more

It’s like someone has Googled the do’s and don’t’s of public speaking and made a book out of it, before getting a robot to read it out.

Awful waste of credits.

Very basic information full of 'what not to do' with no info on what to do instead. Very disappointing, no idea where the positive reviews came from. Will be returning.

This is what I need!

I don't have anxiety in speaking to a large group but I just have problems in delivering the speech effectively. And I'm glad that this book helped me. Yesterday I applied the lessons I learned from this book, and my speech was well-delivered. I'm so thankful for the author who wrote this book! This is such a big help for me.

A book that motivates

This book does not just an aid to promote better and well-mannered deliverance of speech but it also motivates every public speaker to go beyond his expectation with what he can do. I recommend this book to all speakers who don't have the confidence and still timid about their credibility as a speaker.

Book of guidance

This book was truly a manifestation of being objective instead of being subjective. You are not just guided to deliver a speech fluently but rather to adhere to the passion that was captivating enough to catch the attention of the listeners. Truly a huge contributor to the enhancement of my skills in public speaking.

Good facts but dreary

The information is true and factual but this is by far one of the most dreary and uninspirational audiobooks I have listened to for some time. Contrary to the advice offered, both the content and narration lack personality and certainly did not win me over! It could have been much more interesting if the author provided personal examples and a bit of joviality.

Okay!

Not just a basic guide! I just found it very unique among other books I've read before. It's not easy to follow, only those who have self-discipline can achieve what the author's goal for its listeners.
