Great Book but....
Really need a hardcopy too for referencing. Also down to personal preference but found the reader hard to listen too at times.

Interesting book
The narration was very stilted, even for a book of this type. The content, however, was excellent. I’m just about to begin listening a second time through as there’s so much to take in!

Tedious
If the man narrating this had anymore of a boring voice they could use it to cure insomnia

Found this to be a very technical, theorised audio book. Completely went over my head and as such. It enjoyable.

Dreadful!
This book was awful - stilted, robotic narration and the content was pretty terrible too. It was like being read to from a boring text book where they read out the scientific tables. I have no idea who this book would appeal to, but certainly not any pet dog owner. Honestly, it was so bad, that it’s actually annoyed me that I’ve lost several hours of my life that I won’t get back again!

Mixed feelings.
Contains information about how dogs learn and stresses our responsibility in raising well behaved dogs. I probably learned quite a bit from it. However I think the presentation of the material is patronising and intimidating. I think the narrator probably captures the tone of the written word correctly and there is humour in there but it is sarcastic, which I am normally ok with, but I found it too damning.

A Definite for Aspiring Dog Trainers.
Also great for the owner who wants to know more, to understand learning theory and how it applies to the canine world. Great book on Learning and how dogs learn.

The narration is awful!
I couldn't get through the first chapter because the narration is so poor. I plan to buy a hard copy and read that way.

Written by Captain Obvious...
This book is basically a compilation of all academic terms for the common sense and general knowledge subjects about dogs. I don't think anybody out there needs or wants to know these jargon soup but rather learn the actual way dogs learn. what a waste of time :/

What didn’t you like about Christopher Solimene’s performance?
The narrator stammers, as though he has trouble pronouncing the words. It's almost like he hadn't read the work before he decided toi record. A little distracting.

Finally technical dog training terms explained
Really enjoyed hearing a thorough explanation of all the technical dog terms that dog trainers use.
People that complain about the reader should just listen on 1.3x speed. 1x speed is strangely slow so I get why people are frustrated.
