Brilliant support for the reactive dog guardian

This book is packed with brilliant advice and also looks at the science behind the behaviour. The tips given are up to date, kind and force-free which matters a lot to me. If you belong to or know a human dog pair that lacks confidence please listen to this and thus help more dogs to cope in this sometimes scary world. I am off now to read the next bok from this author as I thoroughly enjoyed the style and level of information provided.

The most helpful book so far

I have listened many books about dog training but this is the best so far. It's based on positive reinforcement and helps to understand how the dogs are thinking and functioning.

Good read for a small nervous dogs owners

I've enjoyed the read. It is not the first book I read on the subject so I'd known some things already but, more importantly, I have learnt a lot too. I could easily relate to the author who has/had a few small bread rescue dogs. These are cute and clever but also stubborn, manipulative and very anxious. The book contains explanation for the behaviour and a few tips how to deal with it.

Brilliant and Essential!

So much amazing training I have been taught, watched and listened to, sounds like this was the base of it all...definitely recommend to anyone with a fearful and/or reactive dog. I feel I understand my dog and her needs more each time I listen and I have listened to it 3 times already! Love it, thank you.

Unexpected aha-moment book

So many things made sense and fell in place reading this book. Perfect fit in narration too, finished it the first time in a day. Absolutely amazing, should be mandatory for any trainer, rescuer and owner. I really wish there were translated versions to spread in my home country.
