About this listen
*** THE SECOND BOOK IN THE YOU SERIES, NOW A HIT SHOW ON NETFLIX ***
YOU was a word of mouth bestseller around the world -- and now Joe Goldberg is back!
Joe Goldberg came to Los Angeles to start over, to forget about what happened in New York. But in a darkened room in Soho House everything suddenly changed.
She is like no one he's ever met before.
She doesn't know about his past and never can.
The problem is, hidden bodies don't always stay that way.

Not the TV show but close enough
Loved this just different enough (quite different) to the tv show, shares a lot of the same story beats and characters but as I said different enough to make it worth a read / listen. Looking forwards to seeing if a sequel is coming soon :)

Good but not as good as the first in the series
The performance is brilliant and the writing really sucks you in and makes you really hate the main character. Hidden bodies is excellent but just not quite as good as “you”, but that was always going to be an exceptionally difficult book to top. Listen to them both, you won’t regret it, such a creepy and unsettling set of books.

Boring compared to the first
This wasn't terrible but I didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as the first book, 'You'. I stuck with it but it wasn't engaging. It took effort to finish the book.

Not as good as 'You' but still a terrific story.
Loads if twists and turns, and a few shocking moments. It's really good and well worth a listen/read though I personally thought 'You' had the edge.

A great follow on from YOU
To be honest, I wouldn't have read this book if I hadn't seen YOU on Netflix- it would normally be a bit dark for me. Saying that it was great and I'm looking forward to seeing this on Netflix also when it eventually comes out. A great sequel when so many times a sequel can be disappointing.

Bit of a leap between books 1+2, good narration
I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did You, insomuch as one can enjoy a book about a narcissistic psychopathic serial killer. Joe has evolved in Hidden Bodies. He no longer has to stoop to stalking one single woman in single-minded obsession, Joe now moves between multiple sexual relationships with comparative ease as he lives the high life in the city of angels. In my opinion, this leap between modest-income book clerk to running elbows (and other parts of one's anatomy) with the glitterati of Beverly Hills is far-fetched. The name Love is annoying to my ear, all the more so since Joe says it so many times in the course of the audiobook. The narration was excellent. Joe's character is masterfully rendered in all its creepy, psychopathic offensiveness. To conclude, I disliked the story but appreciated the excellence of the narration.

Not bad but too predicable...
with out seeing the TV series I would of thought .. ' everything was a little to easy.. a little to predictable ' ..
I'll leave one shiny example... having someone that you are going to kill run into a wall constantly because you are making them mad and then they run that little bit too hard in the wall and kill them selves is as far fetch as ice melting in a freezer Lol
narrator was great as always..

Incredible
A very interesting book spoken to perfection. Some differences to the series but equally as credible. Would recommend to everyone

By far not as good as part 1
He is just a bit too clever, too lucky to avoid being caught.
Also, the story is not as interesting as the first one.
Some things are back. His obsessieve thinking of rough sex (also too much of it in the sequel) and his nastiness. The performance was excellent!
