Summary

A red-hot, enemies-to-lovers, fake boyfriend, second-chance romance, and the conclusion to the Hopelessly Bromantic duet!

Let me just say this—fake dating the cocky movie star was not my idea. Especially since he’s my former roomie and, gulp, my secret ex.

But my agent tells me, I have no choice since I’m ridiculously overdue with turning in the next big blockbuster love story to my publisher.

Not to mention, ahem, writing it.

Hooking up with the smooth-talking English hottie once upon a time—fine, twice—were huge mistakes that I shouldn’t repeat, but pretending to like the guy who drives me crazy is my only chance at saving my job. That is, as long as no one finds out that every date we go on, every smile we flash each other for the cameras, and every hot, desperate kiss on the streets of Manhattan is absolutely fake.

Except…it’s not. At least for me. And he can never know....

Here Comes My Man is the final novel in the epic two-book Hopelessly Bromantic duet! Performed with a full supporting cast including: Vanessa Edwin, J.F. Harding, James Joseph, Faye Adele, Evan Parker, Shakira Shute, Robbie Martino, Blake Lockheart, Stephanie Németh-Parker, Stella Hunter, and, in a special performance, Sebastian York!

Here Comes My Man also includes bloopers, an interview with the leads, and the world premiere of The Boyfriend Kickoff, a prequel novella to the Boyfriend Comeback!

So much content

The conclusion of Jude and TJs story is just lovely. The narration by Teddy and Shane draws you into their story. And the extra fireside chat and blooper chapter is brilliant. And last but not least, the prequel to Lauren’s next MM book is just cruel, now we have to wait for the book 😀

Part 2 in this sexy duet

have been impatiently waiting for the conclusion to Jude and TJ’s story, and let me say. I was not disappointed. Lauren Blakely writes sexy m/m romance in the best possible way. Pure entertainment from the get-go, as now enemies, Jude and TJ have to endure a fake romance together to preserve their careers. How though, can two people with their history, play house and not feel? Such a fun, enjoyable read with lots of sexy time, not too much angst, and a whole host of friends getting in their business, in the best possible way. Shane East and Teddy Hamilton, along with a whole host of my favourite narrators (including Sebastian York), narrate this story to utter perfection.
Then, as happens so often with Lauren Blakely’s audios, we get lots of extras including:
I Said Someday - a Hopelessly Bromantic short story - it’s William’s story - Yay - he’s 1 year sober, and ready to romance the sexy actor he’s been fantasising about.
The Boyfriend Kickoff - The Boyfriend Comeback prequel novella narrated by Teddy Hamilton and JF Harding, is the perfect introduction to Jason and Beck, and I can’t wait for the full length novel.
An interview with Shane East and Teddy Hamilton asking each other questions and discussing the premise of the story.
And. My favourite part. The blooper real. So funny. I was laughing out loud throughout.

A gorgeous conclusion to this love story

I'm so happy I bought this and I'm even happier that these two men got their act together and that the angst in this second part of the duet was largely resolved early on, meaning the reader could then enjoy the blossoming love story, as well as the growth and maturity of both of these characters, particularly TJ, when he realises that he needs to be more open with Jude if they are going to have a chance. The HEA was perfect and so on very swoony (to borrow a TJ line).

As with the first book, I listened to the entirety of this, as narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Shane East, along with a full cast and let me tell you what a treat that was!!!

Also, the bonuses at the end, with William & Christian's short story (awww) and the Jason and Beck's sneak preview, were a fantastic surprise!

Okay read, amazing narration

Lovely ending to their story. Really enjoyed listening to it. Plot wise, I think the first book was better, the second felt a little overstretched.
Regardless, the narration was sublime and the fireside chat between Teddy and Shane was a gem! Absolutely loved the blooper reel as well.
Loved the Seb York appearance even though his character was a massive douche!

Holy Hell!! 🔥😍🔥😍

I Absolutely Freaking Loved this duet! 😍
Kind of devastated it ended so early!
Not ashamed to say I bawled happy tears at the end. 😭
Narration-2 of my all time favourite narrators. Outstanding. 👌👏
Seriously hot scenes. 🔥🔥🔥
Loved every minute of this and will be started again really soon.

Please continue with the Bloopers at the end of your stories. They are hilarious and the camaraderie between both narrators is apparent. 😂
Lauren, you're one ofi my all time favourite MM Authors. 💖
Thank you for the amazing escapes you continue to send me on each and every time I begin one of your stories x 💙💙

Fantastic Conclusion!

Like the first book in this duet, I received an advanced copy to read but I had also pre-ordered the audiobook and started listening to it as soon as it hit my Audible app. Here Comes My Man is another amazing full-cast audiobook. The lead characters are performed by Teddy Hamilton and Shane East. There’s almost 2 hours of extra audio after the book concludes, including a fireside chat between Teddy and Shane, as well as a great blooper reel. Buying the audiobook was worth it for this extra material alone. The books in this duet are the first that these two actors have performed opposite each other; I sure hope this isn’t the last time!

I really can’t say enough good things about this duet. The fake boyfriends to real lovers trope isn’t anything new but Lauren Blakely puts her own spin on it and the voice actors did a fantastic job of bringing her words to life. TJ and Jude definitely get their HEA and I loved how it all worked out.

I can whole-heartedly recommend this great duet. If you enjoy MM audiobooks don’t hesitate to snap these up!

Enter this sizzling feel good read!

Here Comes My Man is the second and final book in the Hopelessly Bromantic duet; the duet should be read in order.

Ever read a book and think - this is just the read I needed right now? Well that was Here Comes My Man for me.

This book has so many steamy, swoon worthy, smile inducing, heart warming, fun moments that will make you so happy!

Teddy Hamilton and Shane East narrate this audiobook and were everything I'd hoped for and more to bring TJ and Jude to life …. They conveyed Jude and TJ’s fun banter and magnetic, fiery chemistry brilliantly! These two are my two favourite male narrators ever! In Hopelessly Bromantic, I didn’t particularly like the full cast, however, I have grown to like it and can’t imagine this duet without it.

One of my favourite things about Lauren Blakely books are the EXTRAS!!!
Included is: I Said Somebody (William and Christian’s romance), a teaser of The Boyfriend Comeback (Jason’s story) and it’s one hour and twelve minutes long! Also a chat with Teddy Hamilton and Shane East and … the bloopers.

I am extremely excited for Luke, Sebastian Lowe’s book and Turn Me On.

You will fall head over heels in love with everything about this story. This second chance romance will sweep you off of your feet and make you swoon something fierce! Pure, sizzling electricity!

This book does mention sensitive content such as addiction.

Bit redundant

I liked the beginning, where the couple gets over their hurt feelings. But then they become friends again and more than half of a novel has to be written. It would have been better if the first part of this novel was included by book 1, and the rest deleted. There was just some outside drama I did not care about and the moment the protagonists decided not to care about it, took way to long.
