Amazing book

Oh my.... I'm not entirely sure I have words to describe how much I loved this book. The forbidden but undeniable attraction between the rock star and his bodyguard that slowly but surely turns to true love.

Lauren Blakely writes MM with so much skill that I wish she'd never write anything else! The story is incredibly well written with such believable characters brought to life by the amazing Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan.

And hot. So, so hot!

Being a big fan of Teddy and Jacob I was excited to read One Time Only. As expected I was not let down on how the characters came alive through their narrating, letting us the audience be embroiled in the emotions, fears, responsibilities and of course the love story taking place.

Written beautifully showcasing each main characters feelings, longings, expectations and love that thay have had and want.

The book not only gave you the coming together of two people finding love but extended to the following number of years at intermittent times showing how their relationship grew , progressed and completed. Hope to see more of these types of extended storyline.

Well done and thank you for bringing this beautiful book and characters alive to my audible experience.

5 Passionate, sexy and emotional stars

A truly wonderful MM rockstar romance that I’ve been impatiently waiting for since One Night Only, when we met rock god Stone Zenith and his sexy bodyguard Jackson Pearce after Stone performed at The Extravagant in Las Vegas. I’ll tell you now, I was not disappointed. I was far from disappointed. I was in heaven. The story was everything I wanted and more. Stone is a player, with both men and women (he’s not fussy), he loves being a rockstar, he loves his life, he loves sex (anyway, anyhow). He’s also very much attracted to his bodyguard, too bad the sexy ex marine is not into guys. Or is he? After one unexpected kiss everything changes, and herein starts a truly sexy, emotional and yes, passionate rollercoaster romance. Bodyguards and the stupid code of ethics they live by getting in the way of my happy ever after. Jackson wanting to do the right thing, and Stone being way too understanding. Just do it already, that’s what I say. Unbelievable chemistry, an addictive storyline, and no holds barred bedroom antics. One of my favourite genres written by one of my favourite authors, then to top it off on the audio version, we have narration from Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton that makes for a scorching hot audio that will have you blushing. I loved it. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

the best ever book

I love the way the book brings up real emotions of true love and passion, it really turns me on, surprisly since I have been going through my menopause and over 60...and unfortunately partner free...

Loved it

Im in love with Teddy and Jacob's voice. The story is sweet, romantic, pretty hot and absolutely funny. It's super easy to fall in love with the characters and you actually cheer for them. Although... Im pretty sure the writer has never given a BJ in her life, seriously, it doesn't taste like ice-cream 😂

Sweet, sexy & emotional

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book. It had a lot of build up and seemed to rely heavily on the narrator pair-up. That being said, I really enjoyed it. It was a tad on the long side, but I enjoyed the story and the characters, who we first got to meet in One Night Only, and the main characters from that book pop up in here too as side characters. Stone and Jackson are so good together. The attraction is palpable between them. They have sweet, sexy, and emotional moments that will keep you glued to the story.

I got frustrated with Jackson a little. His issues about his job seemed to be over the top. But maybe that's because I just loved Jackson and Stone together and didn't want to see them in conflict? The resolution to the conflict was fantastic though and got all the swoon meters.

I did feel that there was a lot of sex in this story and it didn’t always feel necessary to move the story along, it felt that it was there for the narration more than the story. Don’t get me wrong, it was written well, it just felt unnecessary.

Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan are always great when they pair up and this book is no different. They are a joy to listen to and bring all the emotion, humour, and sexy. Jacob singing was a real treat. The production was great with no issues of note.

I think Lauren’s second M/M is better than the first and I’m sure she’ll continue to grow in strength in this genre.
