About this listen
In this groundbreaking study of after-death communication experiences, authors Bill and Judy Guggenheim focus on the 12 major types of ADCs people report, the loving messages they receive, and the effects on the lives of those who have been contacted. They present persuasive evidence that ADCs are authentic contacts by deceased loved ones and discuss a few of the many far-reaching social and spiritual implications of their findings.
During their 7 years of research, Bill and Judy Guggenheim interviewed 2,000 people from all over America and Canada and collected more than 3,300 firsthand accounts from people who stated that they have been contacted by a deceased relative or friend. The Guggenheims selected 353 deeply poignant and comforting firsthand accounts for Hello from Heaven. Presented as complete short stories, they offer powerful emotional and spiritual healing, especially for those who are grieving or afraid of death.
Many of the accounts reveal information that the person contacted did not know - and could not have known - before their ADC occurred. In other cases, a person's life was protected, or even saved, by an ADC experience, including a number who were planning to commit suicide. Occasionally two or more people were together at the same place and time when they shared an after-death communication. Listen to these joyous and uplifting reports and decide for yourself whether they offer modern-day evidence of life after death.

Very Comprehensive & Thoroughly Researched Book
I was sceptical about this book before I started listening . I was surprised how thoroughly research was conducted and it has left me hopeful about the existence of the Afterlife. But doesn't convince me to why some people don't hear from their loved ones, who are desperate and open. We might never understand until we are too in the other side. But it was a very enjoyable book and I enjoyed every minute of listening to it. Totally recommended.

We are Spirits in a Body!
I loved this book as it brings one back to remember who we really are and therefore see and live life in reality to minimise ones suffering from the illusions which are portrayed as real!
The narrator and experiences are excellent and easy to listen to, leaving one feeling closer to understanding oneself and to connect with others.

ADC’s galore
I purchased this book in audio form and at the best part of 13 hours this is my longest book so far. The reason I bought this book was because I had my own experience of seeing my Nan when I was around the age of 6. I’ve only heard people since but it’s good to know that there are lots of people that have had similar experiences. It’s just not talked about enough for fear of people thinking you’re crazy. The book is filled with thousands of people’s experiences of after death communications and explains each section and the meanings behind them. This was a good book for people on their ADC journey but was just a bit too much of the same for me.

Incredible book, a must read!
Very well written book that takes over 2,000 cases of ADCs, and breaks them down into different categories. It is a wonderful book that's conducted by people who are seeking to find the truth, and thus they were very careful at only selecting verified candidates for their ADC study.

I gave it a try, but...
I have an open mind and enjoy reading thought-provoking books about the afterlife as much as anyone. However, I had to give up on this one out of frustration and annoyance - life's too short (no pun intended)! I got as far as chapter 9 (of 26) before switching off and looking for something more credible. At least it was a freebie from Audible.
Essentially the message of the book is; "Here's a bunch of stories from mostly emotionally vulnerable people with a predominantly, 'I was overcome with grief, when suddenly...' vibe". There's very little in the way of evidential argument or support, just; "It's true because we said so" (certainly up to chapter 9)...
I'd go as far as saying it's an insult to the intelligence of any questioning mind. I was constantly saying to myself, "Okay, so-and-so says they saw/heard/felt this... Is that it?!"
The (male) narrator trying to pull off a female voice was a little unsettling too...
