Summary
Galaxy 'Alex' Stern is determined to break Darlington out of hell—even if it costs her a future at Lethe and at Yale. But Alex is playing with forces far beyond her control, and when faculty members begin to die off, she knows these aren't just accidents.
Something deadly is at work in New Haven, and if Alex is going to survive, she'll have to reckon with the monsters of her past and a darkness built into the university's very walls.

Great narrators, overall compelling but drags in a couple of places
Got this immediately after finishing Ninth House and I have already listened to it twice through. Story has its moments where it drags a bit, but over all it’s a superb sequel to Ninth House, and what an ending!

Amazing
I am soooooo picky with books, the language, story, characters.
I find one book every third year i actually like.
This (and Ninth House) are it.

Fun, but not to expectations
I thought the first instalment had a lot of potential. in this second installment, the story drifted sideways in a way that I didn't find as enticing. The concept of university fraternities with magic is abandoned completely - we're left with a story of three trips to hell.
