Childhood trauma is more common than any healthy society would like, with more than two-thirds of children reporting at least one traumatic event by age 16.

Fabulously healing book!

This book is so well written with lots of really powerful advice. The author has done a tremendous job in covering all hidden aspects of trauma and provides a very comprehensive map to recovery. There is something beneficial for everyone in this book regardless if you have knowingly been impacted by trauma. Read this book to learn more… trauma comes in many forms. Thank you.

Excellent advice for helping with childhood trauma

I thought this audiobook was quite good at describing and helping to heal childhood trauma. It's amazing many of us have these deep wounds that need addressing. I felt that the author did a good job of giving advice based on scientific research and also from her own life, which was helpful. I liked that there were many different options since each person is so different and requires different handling. I would recommend this book.

MUST READ!

This book is one of a kind, very well written, and packed with useful information that will make you think. I've never read anything like this before. This book may bring up some unexpected past trauma or emotions, but I believe it is beneficial for everyone to listen to it and try to work through these emotions in order to move forward. As a child, I suffered from severe anxiety, and this book contains excellent advice on how to overcome it. This is a book I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Here’s How You Heal Your Inner Child!

Everyone has an inner child. However many of us have been guilty of burying childhood trauma and not dealing with it. Then it begins to reveal itself throughout our adult life and we have no clue how to heal from the madness that’s buried within. I speak from experience. Well, if you experienced trauma, neglect, or other emotional pain, your inner child might be vulnerable and in need of protection. You may have buried this pain deep to hide it in an effort to protect yourself. Well you need to heal your inner child. Here’s how you heal your inner child…with this audiobook. I highly recommend!

A good listen

This audiobook offers excellent, practical guidance on how to deal with childhood trauma and walks you through facing and overcoming it so that you can be your true and authentic self.
​​I got this book in exchange for an honest review. My experience is subjective and is reflected in my review. I can recommend this audiobook.
The narration of the book was very good, and the voice was pleasing to the ear so that you would want to continue listening. The content, as discussed above, was adequate.

Very Informative

Wonderful audiobook!!!! This book has given me so such insight into my own life growing up. I have learned different things that I have done during my lfe that stems from my childhood. The author gives you a 6-step process to help you heal and 8 ways to overcome the truma. She also goes into different situations where you should speak to a specialist. It's very easy to understand and follow. The author speaks from personal experience and from years of studying. I highly recommend this book for anyone that has or is having any kind or trauma.

Very informative

So many of us have traumas or bad experiences from our past that can shape who we are as an adult without us even realising it. This book has been great for me to realise these past traumas so that I can focus on healing. It has been really well researched and provides easy to follow step by step guidance

Inspiring!

This book is an excellent guide to help in recovering from childhood trauma. We have all experienced something that changed the course of our lives, but we can heal from it. This book will help you learn how to rewrite your story. We are not our past, but we can learn from it and use it to grow and help others. I highly recommend listening to this book! It is inspiring and healing!

great book

I had no idea such great books as this existed! I have always had difficulty just expressing myself, and putting boundaries on people, and now that I am a parent I can see that inner child trauma come to light. I am so thankful for this book, for the explanation of the science and spirituality behind it. Everything made sense 10/10 recommend this book!

Relatable and helpful

I listened to this audio as I have a particular interest in BPD which is often caused by early life trauma. The author writes from the perspective of her own childhood trauma and does so in a straightforward but kindly manner with easy to understand language.
The sections for “reflection “at the end of each chapter are useful
