Summary
Everyone experiences times of sadness, trials, and pain. But what happens when grief and depression seem so overwhelming that we feel like giving up? As the founder of World Challenge, Inc., David Wilkerson worked with troubled people of every type: students, parents, alcoholics, delinquents, businessmen, pastors, teachers, and drug addicts. In this hopeful and encouraging book, Wilkerson examines the universal problem of discouragement. He shows listeners how to let God heal their wounds, restore their faith, and give them genuine, lasting peace.

Good book for the soul. Really good to reprogram your negative and jaded views. This book gives me back the faith in GOD that this world tries to erase.

This is not biblical
This is not a biblical book. This is "God doesn't want you to hurt, follow your heart" nonsense

A new look on life
This book is awesome. I especially liked his clarification on death. I enjoyed his version of Jesus walking on water. A must read for not only enjoyment but also a new view on life.

Only David Wilkerson understands
More and more I find that only pastor Wilkerson understands the thoughts that occur in my mind. It is as if the same thoughts and questions courses through his mind and therefore, he provides very indepth answers to profound questions. Great read. Thank you for making it free via Audible. God bless. Amen

Amazing book
David Wilkerson has always been a hero of mine and this book proves why. He has been THERE - the place no one wants to go - and guides us all back to Jesus.
