Summary
Escape to the Gulf Coast of Florida with Georgia Carpenter as she gets a second chance at life, love, and happiness.
New beginnings await Georgia Carpenter as opening day for the Sea Glass Inn approaches. It’s all very exciting, but there are a million things to be done.
And a million fires to be put out. With the constant reminder that nothing good ever comes easy, she and Travis Taylor, her handsome handyman, conquer each problem that arises, bringing them closer than ever before.
But is it all happening too fast? Georgia isn’t sure, and doubts begin to creep in. Maybe it’s time to put the brakes on things. Or is she letting her past dictate her future?

keeps getting better and better
After the intro book 1 that basically just laid the foundation for the storyline the remain8ng books picked up adding rich, tangled, engaging situations that encompass ALL the characters introduced. Each ending cliffhanger leaves me rushing to learn more about our multiple heroes & heroines and their nemesis. I can't help but love it.

Sweet, clean story continues in Book 6
Georgia Carpenter got a 2nd chance when her Aunt Norma left her Sea Glass Inn and two adjoining properties. Georgia's daughter, Mia, and son, Griffin, arrive both needing mom. After extensive remodel and repairs, she is almost ready to reopen the inn. Each book in the series will stand alone but should be read in order.
The renovations of the inn are almost complete. Georgia and Travis continue to grow closer together but still waiting for Georgia's divorce to be finalized. Lily has bought the house across the street and juggles remodeling her home and completing the inn. Levi, the father of Sam's son, Clayton makes an appearance in this book. Old grievances between the two need to be sorted before Clayton is allowed to meet his father and new grandmother. Sam's grandmother, Lavinia continues to try to block the reopening of the inn.
The narrator does a good job of separating the characters voices.

Such a sweet story!
Excellent narration and storyline is sweet. I know this series is hallmark ish but I love the fact that it’s got a few twists and turns and has love and attraction between lovers but not dirty or bad language!

Best Book in the series
So far, this was the best book in the series. You never know what the future can hold or how second chances can come along. Easy read and a sweet story.

Delightful Clean Romance Community Values
I enjoyed this series of clean romance in a community with values thru various life struggles. Would make a good Hallmark show. The performances were great for so many voices from so many readers. I enjoyed each of you.
My one grump was Clayton's character that I never heard of 10 year olds playing football more or less tackle football. I loved Clayton's contribution to the story but he sounded and was treated more like 6 years old than a 10 year old. I easily forgave the oddity though because the entire story is an adorable web of extended relationships from various generations.
I hope Ms Miller has many more stories to tell!

Romance and conflict
I have been listening to this whole series and really enjoying it. Sometimes the level of detail gets a little tedious. Instead of just saying “she made coffee, the author goes step-by-step of every thing she did to make the coffee. Normally hi detest cliffhanger endings because I feel like the reader is being forced to buy another book to find out what should’ve happened in the book they were just reading. However I haven’t objected in this series because all of the books are available in my Audible membership and I can continue without having to spend more money. And I am always eager to get onto the next story to find out what happened.

Can I move to Blackbird Beach?
Seriously! Every single thing works out for these characters, and there in only ONE villain to look out for. Enjoyable fairytale fiction! If you need an escape, this is your ticket.

I enjoyed the audio book. It provides so many stories within the main story. The characters are believable and make you root for their success. We all need something positive in our world right now.
