About this listen

When Jay Turner, a nightclub doorman, accidentally overhears a murder being planned, he suddenly becomes Hastings' most wanted man! Not only is he wanted by East Sussex Police for a violent crime that he's been framed for, but by a desperate psychopath with limitless resources, who simply can't afford for Jay to live...and for the truth to come out.

With Jay on the run and DCI Boyd doing his best to keep him alive, the noose is tightening, and his only chance is to go to ground.

Gone to Ground is the sixth book in the DCI Boyd series.

wow! I couldn't put it down! I stayed up untill 6am cos I had to follow the story to the end.

I love this series and this was the best yet. I like series because you get more and more invested in the characters and this one is excellent. The characters are so easy to identify with. Especially due to time wonderful narration. Now I've had some sleep I.m off yo the next one.

A bridge too far?

Another exciting tale with a plethora of twists and turns but I fear this is getting too much like a poor man’s Bond at times.,
Narration is good except for the female voices who tend to screech and whine.
I will let my thoughts settle before trying another.
