Summary

Random House presents the audiobook edition of Gone By Midnight by Candice Fox, read by Lani Tupu.

They left four children safe upstairs.

They came back to three.

On the fifth floor of the White Caps Hotel, four young boys are left alone while their parents dine downstairs.

But when one of the parents checks on the children at midnight, they discover one of them is missing.

The boys swear they stayed in their room. CCTV confirms that none of them left the building. No trace of the child is found.

Now the hunt is on to find him, before it’s too late - and before the search for a boy becomes a search for a body....

Better and better!

This is the third in the Crimson Lake series and this author just keeps getting better. She is continuously developing the characters as well as writing an extremely good plot. We listen together and love these books and really hope there’s another in the pipeline very soon. The narration by Lani Tupu is simply the icing on the cake and pulls this brilliant book together for a perfect audio read. More please!

Great duo

Another case solved by the quirky duo. Imaginative storylines from this author. I'll look out for the next chapter in the lives of these two.

Loved this book

I was sad to finish this one as I’ve loved the three books and grown to love the characters. Brilliantly narrated.

Very Entertaining.

I really enjoyed this installment from Crimson Lake and am really looking forward to Ted and Amanda's next case. I hope the vet moves on, as the shocking attempt at a Yorkshire accent made me cringe!!

Terrible

Very slow and dragged out. The narrator is dreadful. Total waste of a credit !
