Summary

Noemi helps mentor a girl through a new program at the local nonprofit where her modeling agency is volunteering time. Something about the little girl is off, but she can't put the finger on it. 

The seventh adopted child of a local businessman revered around town and his wife, she meets a wall of silence when raising her concerns. The local coordinator of the program gives her condescension and looks down her nose at the allegations. Of course, Noemi knows the perfect group to help provide her some backup. 

Asking her sisters to look into the situation quietly, they uncover a disgusting secret about the family that poses some major legalities when navigating how best to resolve the matter. Fortunately, Atara has her sister's back and more than one trick up her sleeve to help cast light on a gluttonous secret so horrendous, it will rock the women to their cores.

I’m intrigued

Damn this book leaves you on a cliffhanger of sorts. There’s no closure to this story like there has been in the other books. So I’m now intrigued on how this one is going to play out.
Annalee has a pleasant voice to listen to.
