Secrets that have lain hidden within the rugged terrain come to light and when it is uncovered that the missing child was kidnapped, the search becomes a full-blown crime scene investigation, forcing Mattie, Robo, and Cole into a desperate search to find the missing child before it's too late.

I have waited for this after finding and binge reading the previous eight books last year. This did not disappoint, mystery action amazing dogs and their humans with a gentle love story that had a HEA. Thank you Margaret and for the wonderful narration Nancy

Well paced storyline & love the narrator. There are 1 or two procedural errors relating to the dog, but that doesn't detract from the storyline
