Summary

Relive the sensuality, the romance and the drama of Fifty Shades Freed through the thoughts, reflections and dreams of Christian Grey.

E. L. James revisits the world of Fifty Shades with a deeper and darker take on the love story that enthralled millions of fans around the world.

You are cordially invited to the wedding of the decade, when Christian Grey will make Anastasia Steele his wife. But is he really husband material? His dad is unsure, his brother wants to organise one helluva bachelor party and his fiancée won't vow to obey....

And marriage brings its own challenges. Their passion for each other burns hotter and deeper than ever, but Ana's defiant spirit continues to stir Christian's darkest fears and tests his need for control. As old rivalries and resentments endanger them both, one misjudgement threatens to tear them apart.

Can Christian overcome the nightmares of his childhood and the torments of his youth and save himself? And once he's discovered the truth of his origins, can he find forgiveness and accept Ana's unconditional love?

Can Christian finally be freed?

Very Good

Enjoyed the Shades trilogy much much more from Christian’s POV than Ana’s. Have not read any of the books because who would with Zachary Webber’s sexy voice narrating the story. Thank you Zachary your talent, acting ability and amazing voice made Christian’s character come alive. Loved gravelly voice Welch and British Flyn so much x

Freed

This is the third Fifty Shades of Grey, told through Christian's point of view, as expected this story had many ups and downs along with sexy scenes that keep you on the edge of you seat throughout. With Zachary Webber's gorgeous voice keeping the tension high. Just love it.

Zachary Webber at his absolute best

While listening I often forgot that Mr Webber was narrating all the characters, especially Dr Flynn and some of the nurses. Full of extra detail as we hear Fifty Shades in Christian’s Point of View.

End of the saga

This book ends with the other side of the story which gives a good view of Christian and his dreadful early life. He’s a conflicted man but comes to realise he really needs Anna and no other. It takes him sometime to reconcile himself to that fact and it’s only when Anna is really in danger does he understand how much. I loved all the books and have read each one more than once but I must admit the telling of the story from Christian’s point of view are the best ones.

Great story,

I loved this series. They are not at all as good as the first books but I would recommend them.

Beautiful

Zachary Webber sure knows how to bring a story to life. I hung on to his every word. Loved how he distinguished each character and in particular his British accent. Books are always better than the film versions, but even better hearing it from a man’s perspective (Christian’s). I didn’t want it to end.

Brilliant

Zachary Webber did an absolutely brilliant job reading as Cristian really brought the characters to life but then again he does with every character he reads.

Zachary Webber narration 10/10

I really enjoyed & feel that the trilogy from Christian perspective was more fur filling (whether that’s because I’ve read Ana side too). Love Zachary voice, he pulls you into the story so much, that I found myself crying & smiling throughout the narrative.

Love it!

I loved this story; I know it's cheesy and over the top but I can't help but enjoy it. I liked how there was a different perspective as well as some different time periods depicted. The narrator was also amazing!

Great book, not the best narrator…

I love the 50 Shades series, and it was awesome for me to be able to listen to the audio version of Christian’s perspective… the only thing that was a bit annoying for me was the narrator. I picked up a few times where he would mispronounce words in the book. He also doesn’t do the best job of differentiating between different character voices. Overall still a good audio book and still worth a listen if you are a fan of the series.

All the feels

Loved this.

It’s definitely the books for me and reading them in Christian’s pov is so much better and definitely my preference.

Zachary did an amazing job with this. His voice suited Christian perfectly. His tone, and the easy way he tells the story is great. He made it easy to listen to and I hadn’t realised I had reached the end until I came across the epilogue. I was disappointed it ended.

Love Christian’s pov, we get a better insight into what he deals with when it comes to his past trauma, why he needs control and his feeling of inadequacy. I’m so glad E.L James did this series in Christian’s pov I’d sooner read these than Ana’s pov. I just feel like there’s more depth, more growth and development in these than the original. Absolutely loved it.

Don’t waste a credit!

I pre ordered this!

Good points:
Zachary is at his best. Well paced, various accents and voices and now I know how to pronounce some French words! Listened to a lot of his work and he’s so easy and ear pleasing.

That’s where the good ends

I’m a fan of the series. Read them all, listened to all, saw movies etc but this is a steaming pile of mud.

Bad points:
Too much sex. There I said it! I was fast forwarding from about hour 2. Repetitive, boring (I read reverse harem from J Bree, Tate James and et el... Ive read good written sex scenes).
Lost the story flow by them banging every second of every day sheesh. Honestly, 27hrs could’ve been a lot less if EL James had skipped a few boinks (and I requested a refund in hr 9). We already knows what happens.
Absolute disservice to fans of the series. Many of us have waited a long time for this and what’s been published is about the money, not the loyal fan base.

Do not waste your money. Not worth it.
