Summary

While studying at Columbia University, Anthony's life began to fall apart as he wrestled with anxiety, clinical depression, and low back pain. Everything changed for the better after he discovered the amazing art of qigong.

This candid book is half memoir and half manifesto. Anthony holds nothing back as he recounts his health struggles and explains, in modern language, how everyone can get remarkable results with qigong. Inside you'll discover:

- The real secret to healing yourself with qigong.

- How to practice daily even if you have zero willpower.

- A practical overview of the history, philosophy, and theory of qigong.

- How to navigate the world of self-healing, whether you practice qigong, tai chi, meditation, or yoga.

Get ready to feel fully alive as you find true healing with qigong!

A Thankful Reconnect to old Habits

Worthy of a Credit at least... I'm giving this review having not even completed the audiobook, but let me explain why. Many years ago I was heavily involved in the martial arts, both hard forms (kyokushin karate, Tiger-Crane Kung-fu and Tai Chi.) until injury and life got in the way. I had learnt many of the concepts in this book, but time is a cruel master and I had forgotten so much and lost my way. Flowing Zen has helped to rekindle the fire I first felt when I experienced Chi for the first time. Sifu is easy to understand and he's free flowing with his information. On top of that the extra content you get by purchasing this book is worth the book price by it's self. It is well read and paced such that it is absorbed easily. My return to this world of the soft arts has come at a time I needed it to. These are depressing times and this (for lack of a better phase) Self Help book makes you realise that you can heal without taking sides on the east meets west medical argument. I for one having worked in the NHS have had to rise above the ridicule of medical staff that see it as a fad. It's not and I'm seeing the improvement in my life since I went back to my roots and practices.
