Summary

Lexi O'Connell has secretly been in love with Ian Callaghan for more than 10 years. So when she returns to Pine Ridge and he turns those sexy crystal blue eyes her way, she doesn't have a hope of resisting, even if she knows it can only be for one night. Even if it will break her heart. Because while she would know him anywhere, he doesn't even recognize her. Ian Callaghan is mischievous, playful, and irresistible to women. When he sets his sights on the attractive young woman who has been discreetly staring at him, he doesn't think twice about seducing her. It wasn't supposed to be more than one night. And falling in love with her was definitely not part of the plan. A few days is all Ian needs to know that Lexi is The One. His soul mate. And he doesn't understand how she can just walk away. But what Ian doesn't understand might just kill her. Contains mature themes.

Loved It

I love this book.
I was pulled into the story from the get go and stayed there until I had read every last word that had been written. All the while I was watching my little mini movie playing in my head.
There are surprises all the way through this book, some you may see coming others you won't, I kept on trying to guess, but gave up when I kept on getting it wrong. Some surprises are large, some are small. Some will even pull on your heart strings, especially if you are anything like me.
I went on an emotional rollercoaster ride with this book, I laughed, I got frustrated, I got annoyed at both the main male and the female characters, the male more than the female, but at one stage I did want to bang there heads together. I think I even threatened to throw the kindle out the window. But all is well that ends well as they say. The emotions that the characters go through can be felt throughout the book, and as I have already stated parts will get to you and pull on your heart strings. I did cry a time or two.
Abbie Zanders has written a brilliant story, she has put her all into it. I personally loved it.
If you haven't read an Abbie Zanders book, why not, you are missing out on a brilliant experience, Abbie Zanders knows how to keep you captivated within her books. If you like Alpha males, that can sometimes be a little hard headed and sometimes a bit of a arse, then this is the series for you.
I personally love the Callaghan Brothers.

First and Only

Aiden Snow is perfect for narrator, Love listening to him.

This is a great story, but I so wanted to slap the back of the two main leads heads. Ian and Lexi, true love but , do not communicate , I really did not know if they would get it together.

We have a love story, hot sexy scenes. .

Aiden Snow is wonderful

I have all the books in this series and have read them multiple times. I am so excited to see them coming out as audio books and Abbie picked a very sexy narrator for our sexy Callaghans! My favorite brothers are Michael and Kane. Can't wait for their stories narrated by Mr. Snow!

One Night Isn’t Enough!

Ian Callaghan can’t believe that Lexie can just walk away from him when he knows that she is his soul mate. Lexi has been in love with Ian for years however she knows she cannot be with him for more than just one night of passion. Ian doesn’t have any idea that the secrets Lexie holds can kill her. The relationship between Ian and Lexi had a lot of bumps and there were many things they had to overcome. My heart went out to both of them, though at times I felt like shaking some sense into Ian! Lol! I really enjoyed this story and Aiden Snow’s narration always adds to that enjoyment.

Great storytelling

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. The story was original and well written with great characters. As a nurse, there were a few things I found wrong with the medical portion of the story, but overall it was a fine story in this series. Aiden Snow did a great narration!

Love 💘

I have fallen in love with the Callaghan brothers. Abbie is an awesome author. These books have everything I want in a romance. Love, honor, adventure, family, understanding, forgiveness etc...and especially very steamy sex scenes. I have always enjoyed aiden snow as a narrator!

Boring

The lead couple were to stupid to be believed. It was also overly repetitive. I liked the first book of this series. However I had a hard time staying awake through this one

Lexie the DOORMAT

This was a sick retelling of Cinderella. The difference was Cinderella's father was dead when the abuse of his daughter started. Lexie's father was there & contributed to the abuse He used his religion (Catholic) as an excuse to not do the right thing & take care of HIS CHILD by kicking his evil wife & her psychotic daughter out on their collective a***s. Instead he forbid Lexie from being around the Callahan brothers. his best friends sons & the only people that cared about & tried to take care of Lexie, over a lie that he knew was a lie & then finally sent Lexie away. After his death he left everything but a old raggedy house to the GRUSOME TWOSOME & they had a problem with THAT. WHAT A FATHER. The supposed love story between Lexie & Ian got lost in the effort to turn Lexie into the poor little sick girl, who forever turns the other cheek...A good old fashioned telling off by ANYBODY in this mess would've helped me give this mess a higher rating. Bullies that run roughshod over people that do nothing to check them is just not for me. Lexie bucked up only at people that loved her.

Frustrating

This was tough one to get through, Lexi was selfish, whinny and did not learn the lesson of not communicating. Why was all the blame on Ian

Loved Ian tolerated Lexi

While Ian was amazing Lexi was too annoying...talking in her head, making horrible decisions NEVER communicating with Ian. Many hours wasted because she’s so busy assuming. Skip this one in the series.
