Summary

A good listen
Nice listen with well thought out and realistic characters. Good to have a slightly older MC with the accompanying views and reactions.

Awesome story!
Can’t wait for the second instalment! I have to say this was one of the most enjoyable listens I’ve had for a while. It’s a great story beautifully performed. Great characters and development with some great laughs on the way. Highly recommended - a great use of a credit.

Best writing, realistic apocalyptic story
I received a free copy for a honest review.
Firstly, this book is very well written. It contains an amazing plot, fleshed out characters, interesting side characters with realistic interactions and a good MC with a decent class and power set.
I really enjoyed the book, at first it felt like a slog, but, after some reflection that was because the story doesn't contain the typical Super power levelling OP MC which turned out to be an anazing thing. It was refreshing listening to a character build themselves up with a grain of luck and not the ounces seen in other books.
This book gives me 'the walking dead' kind of survival vibe. It's hard, it's not a walk in the park, some fall but all characters are indivuals. They bring their own flavour to the story which adds to the plot.
I cant wait for the second book!!!

Great start to a series
This is a great LitRPG which gives me feeling of a mixture of a bunch of other similar books such as The Primal Hunter, The Ripple System and the humour of Noobtown.
Looking forward to the next book!
