Fantastic

Book 4 of Fire Maidens: Portugal by Anna Lowe
Laura is very new to her dragon, after finding a gem she shifts and make her way to Portugal where her heart says she needs to be.
One night a vampire attacks her and Marco comes to rescue and finds out a fire maiden has come to Portugal.
I love that Laura is very independent and not a push over and when Marco comes into her life he doesn’t make her feel stupid because doesn’t know what she doing but instead help her to be a better dragon and find the happiness she’s be longing for.
The narration for Anna Lowe audiobooks are amazing Kelsey Osborne has an amazing talent to bring each character our perfectly but still keep their individually and make each one have a different sound.
Can not wait for Fire Maidens: Ireland

Book 5 in Fire Maiden series by Anna Lowe
Finn is a dragon shifter that finally goes home after growing issues of not having a Fire Maiden in Ireland.
Grace is from Boston and after a great uncle dies and leaves his cottage to her in Ballyfianna. This is a small beautiful village with a very close community.
When Grace comes to village she finds Finn and realises he’s the little kid she played with as a child when visiting her great uncle.
I really like that there a lot more to Grace then just one side of her heritage being possible magic.
Grace talks about both sides of her family her father is from Ireland and her mother’s from Saint Kitts.
I was wondering how the narrator was going to do this one and I was worried it could possibly be a bad Irish accent but I shouldn’t have worried.
Kelsey Osborne is a wonderful narrator, with this book is doesn’t do a accent she just narrators in her own current accent.
I would prefer this rather then doing a terrible fake accent. Absolutely love this storey but it’s definitely improved with the fantastic Kelsey Osborne narration.

Book 6 in Billionaire and Bodyguards series Fire Maiden: Scotland by Anna Lowe. Lachlan is a dragon shifter and a previous member of the French foreign legion where he had met previous characters that had met and mated other fire maiden. Holly is a dragon shifter from America that became friends with Scottish royal dragon that died and asks Lachlan and holly to do his final wishes. I love that this book both main characters previously knew each other and have history already but also the main female character is already a shifter and has knowledge of the shifter world, about shifter council and fire maidens. Holly doesn’t know that she is a fire maiden and the story develops beautifully into it especially with her and Lachlan fulfilling her friends wishes. Would love to read more about the emotional unicorn Penelope, hopefully it’ll be soon. Absolutely awesome narration but the massively talented Kelsey Osborne. Like other book in series she doesn’t do much with the very different accents with I’m very thankful for. Instead of doing a awful Scottish accent she keep her own accent and changes her tone for each character which she does a lovely job. Can not wait for next in series.

More fated mates and destiny

This was an enjoyable listen. As always, there is the usual danger, excitement and steam, and the narration was excellent.

Portugal
Laura finds out very early on that Marco is a shifter, and I like that this isn’t a secret between them.

Ireland
Grace gets a crash course in shifters when she returns to Ireland after inheriting a cottage from a distant relative. I don’t want to give too much away, but this Fire Maiden is a little bit different.

Scotland
Holly and Lachlan are thrown back together after years apart. The story has a slower start than other books in the series, but I felt that, to tie up the loose ends, the ending was a bit rushed.

I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author, and I'm leaving a voluntary review.

DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING

STRONG WOMEN AND CLEVER DRAGONS.
Action packed and romantic, this story is sure to satisfy. I recommend reading/listening to this page turner in series order but it is not necessary if you don't want. Always a happy ending and beautifully narrated.
RECOMMENDED GREAT SERIES
I found this book to be rich, fulfilling and delightfully entertaining in only a way this author can do. Technically you can read each happy ending book on its own but l recommend you really must start at the first book of the series to experience the full community, love and antics that the characters portray as they overlap into each others stories. Love and sex scenes included so for mature readers only.
TRULY BEAUTIFUL
l finished this book with a deep sigh, It was truly a beautiful love story.
It has adventure, sorrow , love and it was so heartwarming and satisfying. I think l fell in love with Scotland, the home of my ancestors too, which made it all the more touching. Beautifully narrated.
HEARTILY RECOMMENDED.

Wonderful Box Set

Anyone who reads my reviews will know how much I love Anna Lowe's books but I especially love them once the wonderful Kelsey Osborne has added her magic touch to the audio.

Fire Maidens Portugal - This book about Laura and Marco was one I particularly loved. Laura Sampaio always knew her family descended from dragon shifters, but no one had shifted in so long that they all assumed that power was lost. That is until she inherited a ruby necklace from her great aunt and found herself shifting into a dragon! Her life will never be the same, she decides to go to Lisbon and seek the help of the Guardians there as her family originally came from Portugal.

Marco da Silva, whom we met previously when he helped Sergio and Lena in Rome, is the heir to an ancient dragon dynasty, but he’s determined not to take his father's seat as one of the Guardians believing that power and respect should be earned not inherited.

Whilst Laura is waiting for the Guardians to answer her plea for help she finds herself being pursued by a vampire and a dragon through the streets of Lisbon. Her one chance to escape is to take flight, but she is so new to flying will she be able to do it? Just when she thinks everything will be lost and she will be caught by the dragon pursuing her another dragon arrives on the scene and chases her pursuer away. He's, gruff and distant but he offers her refuge, he takes her home to his vila and begrudgingly offers her assistance.

Marco may want to keep himself to himself and stay away from women but when his dragon wakes him late one night and tells him that Laura is in danger, he has no choice but to help her. He defeats the dragon pursuing her and as she has nowhere safe to go he takes her home.

After another attempt to capture Laura by the vampire, the only way for him to keep her safe is to take her to Madera, but the only way they can get there is by flying and not in a plane! He has only done that marathon flight once will a novice like Laura be able to make it?

Once on Maderia the danger level increases, Marco begins to teach Laura all she will need to know, will they be able to get help from Madera's Guardians? But the danger has only increased and powerful enemies are on the move, enemies who will stop at nothing to seize Laura and use her power as a stepping stone to obtaining control of the entire continent.

But by this time Laura and Marco have realised that they are mates and are determined to defeat their enemies and be together. Their love story is action-packed and yet at times sweet, but this is a love story between dragons so there is lots of heat, from a dragon kiss to a dragon bond. I loved it, thank you, Anna and Kelsy you make such a wonderful team.

Fire Maidens Ireland - I read this book not long ago and enjoyed it immensely, as I have the whole series, but as soon as the audio became available I couldn't wait to listen to this wonderful story. In this Fire Maidens story, Finn and Grace met once as children when her father came from America to connect with his roots. Their friendship was instant and strong, they bonded over a near-fatal accident which they agreed to keep secret from their parents. Unfortunately, their friendship never got a chance to develop further as she went back to the US almost as soon as they had met.

When Grace's great-uncle died he left her his cottage on the outskirts of the village of Ballyfianna. She returned to Ireland to try and find a tenant for the property, a traditional cottage close to the ruins of Ballyfianna Castle. Almost as soon as arrived she was drawn to the castle grounds as she walks she thinks about the time she and Finn spent there as children and their shared relief that disaster was avoided that day. Over the years she has thought about Finn often, wondering if he ever thought of her. Fantasizing about the two of them together at whatever age she was at the time!

Finn, a dragon shifter, has known for years that Grace is his mate and vowed that one day he would search for her. Life choices lead him to enlist in the French Foreign Legion but after ten years his term of duty is over and he's back for a quick visit to catch up with his family. Some of his friends from the Legion have met their mates and settled down, he even helped Marco keep his mate safe in Portugal. Is now the time to search for his mate, Grace, the human girl he met so long ago?

The Guardians in Ireland are different from the Guardians we have met before, they are more laid back. His brother-in-law Eamonn, a giant elk shifter is the leader of the Irish Guardians, Finn's dragon shifter family has a longstanding alliance with the Elk clan and several of his relatives are also Guardians including his sister. Eamonn has asked Finn to stay awhile because of some troubles with the Teague wolf pack and the ever-present threat of the Lombardis

Finn takes a walk to the old castle ruins where sees a woman too close to the edge of the cliff in the exact spot Grace almost fell to her death, alas his shouts to warn the woman startle her causing her to nearly fall, when he goes to check on her he realises that it's his Grace!

Grace is a musician, she knows nothing of the shifter world of magic, but she's about to get a rude awakening when she is again in danger and Finn has to show his true self to save her. Just as she's trying to come to terms with the fact that shifters exist she has to face the biggest challenge of her life when she learns that she possesses magic! But will this be enough to save herself, to save the shifters of Ballyfianna? Will the magic of Ireland work to convince her to follow her heart? Will destiny show the girl from Boston and the boy from Ireland that home is wherever they are so long as they are together?

The narration of this book, indeed all the books in this series, is by the wonderfully talented Kelsey Osborne, she does such a great job of bringing the characters to life and making Anna's descriptions of the majestic Irish scenery even more vivid!

Fire Maidens Scotland - I loved Lachlan's story! It's different from the earlier books in this series because he and Holly already know each other having met ten years ago. They are both dragon shifters who are now getting a second chance to be together. The last time they were together they had one incredible night together but Lachlan chose his military duties over his love for Holly and broke her heart in the process. Ten years have passed and now they are in each other's company again on a journey around Scotland to fulfil the last request of a deceased friend, Trevor Holly's mentor.

There is so much going on in this story, as you would expect from Anna Lowe if you read or listened to Fire Maidens Ireland you will remember that a dangerous enemy was captured. He was then imprisoned on a private Scottish Island being guarded by a mixed team of shifters which means we can again meet up with characters from previous books.

Whilst Holly and Lachlan strive to fulfil Trevor's final requests they are forced to spend time together which gives them another chance to accept their destiny.

I'm not going to tell you any more because of spoilers, the story is far too go to spoil. If you haven't listened to or read the earlier books you could still enjoy this one but I would recommend that you listen to the books in order to get the most enjoyment from them.

I received this audio box set as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review which contains only my personal opinions.
