I loved listening to Shea Weber, perfect for this book.
Exciting plot and lots of unexpected turns. A great suspense novel,
You will find revenge, kidnapping, greed, murder, We find out why the neighbourhood mobster turned up murdered when the three were kids, a “deal with the devil”,
We hear the children mature into adulthood, which gives the book plenty of twists and turns that kept the suspense building and the listener guessing what would happen next.
A really good plot and great characters. Loved listening.

Hands down one of the best listens
Well to be honest I thought this would be an okay listen from the blurb but wow it really got going with so many twists and turns and then when you thought you knew what was happening, it goes again.
The narration was brilliant it so suited the story.
This was one of the audio books where my dog got extra long walks as I needed to keep listening.
Fully recommend.

Loved it

This book follows three kids into adulthood and the empire they’ve build on the foundations of secrets and lies, lots of twists and mob connections with some downright creepy and alarming behaviour combining to make this a unique and totally absorbing story.
The narrator does an amazing job and suited this story perfectly.
