This is a very good book, all the narrators were very good, they portrayed the characters well. I would recommend this book and would certainly listen to more by JS Monroe.

Totally gripped by this book. Various narrative points and it’s difficult to know whose version is correct.

A compelling storyline, with unexpected twists. The book contains descriptions of animal cruelty and torture which may be distressing to some readers. But as thrillers go it will keep you guessing.

Really enjoyed the story and the narration was good. I started to worry midway through that it was getting a bit far fetched but I stuck with it and was really pleased I did. Great story.

Slow to start. Interesting as it gets going.. If you've given it this long, then it suddenly finishes in a most bizarre manor. Don't know if I like it or not. Confused.

I love an audio book, but found this one really hard going, just felt like I wanted it to get to the point, couldn't gel with the characters and it was all a bit all over the place, just didn't cut the mustard for me.
Disappointing as it was recommended for an autumn read

I’m sorry but this was so... what?! I listened to the previous book which I thought was implausible but this! I got to four hours then listened for a couple more. I feel bad not completing books but I just did not care! And I’m not wasting any more of my precious time just because I don’t want to be rude to an author I’ve never met!

I became quite confused with all the moving around in time. The worst thing and why I didn’t finish the book was the description of animal experiments. I cannot bear to hear about animal cruelty and the topic kept returning. I rarely give up on a book but I couldn’t continue with this.
