You need to pay attention
I resulted to using a pen and paper to keep track of who was who and who was marrying who.
Unfortunately I found the story confusing.
Narration was good and kept the story flowing.
I am sorry to say not up to Sarah Denzils usual standard.

Amazing and interesting plot.
Really enjoyed this book. Loved the three different , but yet, linked stories it tells. Entertaining from start to finish. Narrator also did very well.
Highly recommend.

convoluted, complex but good
was a little confused by all the characters at the very beginning but soon got into it and found myself needing to find out what happened next. I was hooked. the subtle twists and character links kept coming, right to the end.

Hard to follow
It took a long time to figure out all the characters and to not get confused with the different story lines. The story introduced all the characters very quickly and there was so many different story lines but all very similar, it was so difficult to follow.. I was more than halfway through it before I really knew what was going on.. it was a good ending but it requires a lot of effort to get that far.

A great premise but too complicated
The idea behind the story is original and interesting but to be honest there were too many characters making it very difficult to follow, half the time I couldn’t work out who was who and although the reader was clear and precise she didn’t have enough different voices to help the listener sort out the characters! It was a good story though.

Was a little bit unbelievable until the last chapter- totally unbelievable- apparently Nico thought Milly had graduated from Oxford after attending Eton!!! An all boys school- that should have warned him!

Brilliant listen!
I loved every minute of this book! The story was gripping. It had depth without being convoluted or confusing. The multiple perspectives were written beautifully.
And thank you thank you for listening the names of each person in the chapter titles! Sometimes they’re represented in the TOC of a book but never make it over to the audible chapters. This makes a huge difference to the audible listener.
Additionally, the narrator did a beautiful job!
The perfect winter thriller well worth a credit!
