Summary
Magic is unpredictable.
I should know. It got me in hot water with four sexy sorcerers last semester.
This semester, I’ve got my hands full, but things are looking up. My weapon is now my biggest supporter, even if she likes to go rogue and has her own ideas about what I need in every situation. A steamy, fantasy.
After listening to the audiobook version of Fallen Master i feel that, on the whole it is well done but I would prefer there to be a clearer distinction between the characters voices.
I am really enjoying the plot that runs through the series and the individual one within this book. This is a reverse harem, so it is very steamy but woven well through the story.

A steamy, magical read
I really enjoyed this book, it had a great plot, characters and very steamy, I finished it in one sitting. I really enjoyed Jade getting the better of the Bellas, and the sorcerer Silas was the perfect villain to love to hate. I can't wait for the next book, this series is addictive and definately one I want to follow. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

What an amazing continuation
This one is just fantastic, I love how she’s really coming into her own and learning who she is with her magic now. The relationship she has with each of the boys is always enjoyable for me and I love that she got to put the Bellas in their place. Absolutely fantastic

Wonderful
This is such an enjoyable and easy to listen to book. I love the chemistry between the characters with the love/hate relationships so well written keeping you in suspense. This is building into an reverse harem series but, it has a super exciting storyline with lots of twists which keeps you gripped from the beginning. The narrator is brilliant and easy to listen to. I look forward to book 3 :)

The story is getting better and Cleo is the best
Ok I'll start with Cleo, you know, the spork!! She is just the life of the party. She has a mind of its own and dam that thing is out for blood. She does whatever she feels like but looking closely, you see that it is all to protect Jade. Also, this leads to a lot of fun 🤣
Now to Jade and the boys. OMG I was dying for it! I craved it and it happened. I mean she got her first pick and she told them all that she wanted them, quicking yhe RH part of the story and oh gosh I can see Ryker's face from a mile, still trying to resist her but failing 🤭 which give is a loooot of hot moments 🔥🔥🔥. And Rocco, the sweet one and Thorn the protective one, and Darius the wise one... I'm eagerly waiting for book 3 to see how they will all cave in.
Last but not least, the backstory: I like it that there was a twist in who the villain is and to also see that Jade is driven by love. And for once, you will love to hate the Bellas more because these girls won't stop at nothing to get to Jades men but hey as I said we are thankfull for Cleo.

Excellent 2nd book.
I received this book free for an honest review.
Jade is learning to control her magic with the help of Cleo her spork , she is still protected by the guys she loves to hate .
After the Bellas stole her magic and made her guys want them she is biding her time on how she’s going to seek revenge.
Her Dad is still a worry for her even more so after he takes over her contract with the evil Silas who is using her Dad to get to her. Really enjoyed listening and seeing how the characters are growing and can’t wait for the next book.

Unique but interesting!
Book continues this very unique but great story! It is still weird to have such old sounding guys that aren’t supposed to be that old so I did lower the star rating on the performance for that reason but the story is beyond worth it!!

Fallen Master
I really enjoyed this book. Jade is still trying to learn her special magic. She is also trying to figure out her feelings about four different guys. Her father goes missing and she is willing to do anything to find him. This book ends on a small cliffhanger. Can’t wait to see what happens next term.

Potentially Great Story
I really want to say that I like this book, because there are so many amazing things about it like the hot guys, the steamy chemistry, all the magic and the basic backstory.
BUT... And unfortunately there's a big but, it just doesn't really work as good as it could have. I constantly found myself frustrated with the heroines actions, the many plot holes and most importantly all the pieces that just didn't make sense, like one minute she's totally scared about her missing dad but then she's laughing and obsessed with the sexy guys again with absolutely no thought to her dad.
There were so many times where I was really excited to see what happened after a story development where it would have made perfect sense for the author to show a deeper insight into the characters by going into what they think and what happens the next day or even just 10 minutes after, but unfortunately she often jumped several weeks ahead, which just left me frustrated and annoyed as well as disappointed never to go any deeper.
I don't feel like I ever really got to know any of the characters besides a few superficial descriptions, and often their actions made absolutely no sense.
It's just such a shame because in spite of all that, this story has so much potential. It was incredibly entertaining at places, very steamy, such an amazing story and had every chance of being a great bestseller. Just too bad that the execution was so superficial and disappointing. I don't think I will want to read anything else by this author.
