Has helped me get closer to God!
This book is a great book for those who want more of God, for those who are hungry and won't settle for anything less than God and all He has for them.
I listened to this at a time when I felt like I needed more of God but didn't seem to be getting any further in my walk!
This book has helped me to understand more of the bible through the eyes of Grace. As I would often feel not good enough and this book helped to build me up and know who I am in Him. There's so much revelation in this book & I think it's not only clear enough for young Christians it's also deep enough for mature Christians 👍

God’s presence
A profound opening up of the whole of scripture which brings joy to the soul and light where there has been dimness. This is a book for anyone wanting to go deeper in his or her relationship with God. It will encourage such a person to plot a path in their discipleship which challenges but ultimately fulfils. The book brings Jesus alive for a reader who has a dullness in their spirit. The book reasserts in our age of scepticism and rationalism that our God is a God of love and mercy and who operates supernaturally. The book is a prayer to see God’s people acting on Jesus’ instructions to continue to do as He was seen doing.

Wonderful and inspiring
I wondered if I might get less out of this book by Bill Johnson as it’s a few years old now but I found it really helpful, insightful, full of wisdom and inspiring. I also loved the narration. I found the narrator’s voice just perfect for the book and he seemed to really understand Bill Johnson‘s intent. His voice is very easy to listen to yet full of character and had just the right amount of feeling, passion and emphasis.

Great Material, but Narrator was too mellow
What made the experience of listening to Face to Face with God the most enjoyable?
I always learn, am challenged, and fully enjoy Bill Johnson's books and teaching. I wish Audible had more of his books available.
What aspect of Arthur Morey’s performance would you have changed?
Arthur Morey has a great voice, but it has a soothing quality to it, which is great for some stories, but I often felt like I missed some major points because I was so lulled by the sound of the voice I was missed the significance of what was being said.
Any additional comments?
I'd prefer to listen to Bill's books read by someone with more animation, vocally stressing main points. But I would listen to Arthur Morey in other types of books.

Inspiring content - mechanically read
The book itself is inspiring and I was eager to hear the recorded version of it but couldn't be more disappointed. The reading was mechanical. Although precisely performed it lacked appropriate inflection to relay the real meaning of the text. I don't think I'll be able to stand listening to it without being lulled to sleep.

God is Alive and Well
Not too long ago I was told about Bill Johnsons books and after reading the first one I was hooked. I have since read everything I can get my hands on as well as subscribe to his Podcasts.

I have had similar encounters over the last 50 years but did not know how to maintain the level and intensity of the encounters. Nor was "The Church" forthcoming with any practical teaching on these experiences and the fact that these are a normal part of the Believers walk as a Kingdom Dweller. Believers at this level of intensity are ignored, marginalized or thought of as strange because "The Church" isn't walking in these experiences. BELIEVERS do not FELLOWSHIP with other Believers who have walked down this path.

Genuine Biblical World View
This book provides a genuinely biblical world view which exposes the fraudulent experience most Christians stuck within institutional church's may be familiar with.
At the same time this book offers prophetic promises to the hungry soul that longs for the presence of God demonstrated by His power.

50 years of Revelation in 5 hours!!
So profound! I love the way that Bill Johnson uses his life and walk with the LORD as an open resource for other believers to learn from the wisdom that was surrendered by the LORD because Bill has paid the price to foster that wisdom. Touched my heart in so many ways and allowed me to come to an understanding of many ways God has been moving in my life and I have not recognized it!
