Heartbreaking story
This is a very honest book. Alfie takes us through recent years and goes through his marriage break up and the heartache that left him with. But he also looks forward to the future with positivity.

favourite singer
Not my best read depressing at times , truthful, it didn't lift my soul and at times wish I didnt know about all his struggles. I need to listen to more light hearted stories sorry.

A sad but refreshing read.
Alfie reading his own words gave it a real poignancy especially the chapters about his marriage breakdown and period in rehabilitation. Nobody really knows what happens behind closed doors, Despite the front of a perfect, happy and successful life and career, Alfie shows how it can happen to anyone. There are many positives in the book also, including the joy and pride in his voice when he talks about his children. I hope he continues to be successful in his career and more importantly happy in his personal life

Raw Honesty
I love this from start to finish although I am biased as I am a huge Alfie Boe fan. His raw honesty about everything is inspiring and I could definitely relate to his story. A brilliant listen, thank you for keeping me company on my way to and from work!

Fascinating insight into Alfie
Alfie Boe is one of those people everyone thinks they know but we really know very little about so I loved this autobiography about his life. Fascinating.
