Very strange, eerie and extremely complicated throughout. The mystery still lives on, despite the storm affecting the whole world, as they know it.

So... I love this series. I read it a while ago and recently have got into audio books so decided it might be fun to listen to. Great work up untill the Scottish accent. It's honestly so bad, I live in Glasgow so know the accent well. I am still listening to it, I just cringe at the accent everytime it happens! So if your sensitive to the bad accent maybe just read the books instead.

The picks up where book 1 finished and keeps flowing at a nice pace towards its conclusion. now for book 3

Love this series. The story just draws you in. It’s well narrated by Emily, who does a great job characterising each character.

I am loving this series of books and up until now thought the narration was wonderful. However the Scottish accent for one of the characters was so awful- a mixture of Indian/ Jamaican/ Irish, that I found it impossible to connect with the character. Such a shame because for the main character she was spot on! Will still listen to the next book though as the story is just magical
