Summary
Two people. One month to fall in love.
Belle Wilde loves December. Yes, she’s just lost her job, and Christmas is not a good time to find yourself ‘financially challenged’. And yes, her parents are still going on about the fact that she really should have it all together by now. But Belle believes that in December, magic can happen.
Rory Walters hates December. Whilst it looks like his life is together, he’s still reeling from a winter’s night five years ago when his life changed forever. Now back at home, he’s certain that this will be yet another Christmas to endure rather than enjoy.
But as midnight on December 31st draws closer, Belle and Rory’s time together is coming to an end. With a little help from a Christmas miracle, could Belle find the one thing she really wants underneath the mistletoe?

Slow moving
This book took forever. There's a scene early on where the main character smokes pot in the driveway. I gave up there. It felt pretty disjointed (no pun intended) and I thought I understood the character until that moment. I didn't feel like it fit how I understood her character. Maybe it's just me though.

Christmas cheer!
I absolutely loved the story and that it was full of Christmas cheer yet somehow not to syrupy.
The performance was also magical and I feel equally in love with the performers as I do the writer.
You can’t go wrong with this one! Fingers crossed it becomes a movie!

A cute, sweet book for a holiday read
This was such a cute, sweet clean romance. It follows the story of Belle and Rory. Belle is the lover of everything Christmas and is always feeling like she is not good enough. Rory is home for the holidays to be with his mum. The last thing either expected was to find friendship in each other. Belle helps him find his love for Christmas again and he helps her realize her potential and know her worth. I loved this story and how they get closer and closer as each day of December passes. I recommend this for a sweet holiday read.
