Summary

Estan is book two in The Lucid Chronicles.

Hope is memory.

Join Estan Harvey as she leads her friends back to the suffocating, dying world they call home. Armed with the truth of the Eclipse, they mean to overthrow Unity and bring down the regime. Little do they know that a terror chases that could spell the end of the human race.

With the Buyer’s return, Estan and her people find themselves asking the hardest question of all: Do they reveal the truth of the Eclipse, and in turn bring down Unity, the only power strong enough on Earth to stand up to the Buyer’s threat? Or, is it sometimes better the devil you know?

A war is coming, and with a lion at their front and a wolf at their heels, the Liberation of the Eclipse appears to have only been the start. Surviving the end is only the beginning...

Fantastic addition to a brilliant story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audible. The story was completely captivating and I listened to the lot in about a week is was that good!

I really liked how quickly the story developed this time and how immediate the action was, the fact that the story didn’t have too many new key characters meant that the story hit the ground running and didn’t really stop.

I enjoyed seeing the mysterious old man Marv get a lot of “screen time” devoted to him and we got to learn more about his clan and how he came to be so key to the story. Also, in the first book the mega corp was merely a place the book was set. In this book we see a lot lot more of the city and the reasons why it’s such a terrible place to be.

The book was left of a brilliant cliff hanger, my like the first book and I for one can’t wait to see how the story continues in the third book of the chronicles
