Disturbing!

This book is so hard to review.

It is the most disturbing book I have read including being sold into sex slavery, torture and so on. Hence 3 🌟 Having said this, it was incredibly compelling and I had to read #2.

So I'll leave the decision down to you whether you are brave enough to read it!!

Needs A Male Performer

Scarlett Day is very good but this book needs a male Brit to perform the European parts. Sorry. Too much violence and sex, but hey, the book is about human trafficking so... guess it goes with the territory. Will I buy the 2nd book? No. I know the issues will all be resolved but the last 15 minutes of Enthralled didn't entice me enough to want to listen to more.

I Really Tried…..

Could not get very far. The narrator doing too many parts just dragged it down🤷‍♀️
I love Giana’s writing style and her characters, but for me it all comes down to narration for ‘ Audio’ books!

Enthralled by Giana Darling

^^I’m sure I missed something so be sure to do your research before diving in.

Wow…not sure how I feel about this one. I normally love super dark romances, but I just couldn’t really find anything redeeming about the hero Alex. He did a lot of things I normally find unforgiving of a hero and I couldn’t understand why Cosima fell for him as quickly as she did. I’m invested enough that I have to dive right into the second book in the duet, but I’m going in with relatively low expectations.

I also wasn’t a huge fan of the audiobook. Her “Italian” accent wasn’t consistent and I didn’t like the way she voiced the men. I’m hoping that the audiobook experience for book 2 will be better. It’ll have dual narration, so hopefully that will outweigh the female that it’s the same female narrator.

I love it

I've been waiting for this book to come out in audio ever since I read it I'm a Little Confused because are just reading it Scarlet day iis reading all the parts and she has a funny voice I try to listen all the way to the end I I love that takes years to correct But eventually we'll be hope in a second part of the next book since there's a man talking with her that the book is a little bit better it looks a bit better in the sense that the voices the will be better because there's the man's voice that's the only complaint I have The story is beautiful I've read the books a couple of times that they are alone I won the 1st book was 9 Hours The next book is 15 hours in hoPace yourself so so you can really enjoy the books I've read them 2 or 3 times it's a lovely romantic Story
