Summary

Josephine Wilder’s torrid love affair is with Tangle Valley Vineyard, her family’s legacy. She’s grown up dreaming between the vines. She’s always had secret ideas about how to make the place shine, so when it passes to her, Joey vows to make Tangle Valley everything she knows it can be. Her biggest obstacle? That overly commercial hotel going up, and the uppity manager trying to kill the vineyard’s rustic charm.

Becca Crawford loves to unwind with a good glass of wine. An astute business woman who has climbed the hospitality ladder, she’s the perfect person to head up Elite Resorts’ newest property, The Jade Hotel, and give tourists all the luxury they desire. As a bonus, The Jade is not far from the cutest vineyard with the best pinot she’s ever tasted. If only the captivating owner would get on board with her plan and stop badmouthing the hotel to everyone in town.

Is it possible that a nice glass of red could help Becca and Joey see each other in a new and alluring light?

Ok

Good story but painful narration- bouncy tone ALL the time even when it definitely wasn’t warranted

Love the story. The narration? Not really.

This is one of my favorite stories from Melissa Brayden. Love the setting, the characters, the plot. However, I did not enjoy the narration at all. Ms Sternenberg‘s pace is too fast (even at 0.9x) and her voice is a bit too high for my taste.

My advice is that you listen to a sample before buying and check if the narration is okay for you.

Loved it!

Melissa does it again! I for one can't wait for the rest of the books in this series. We are taken on some for highs and lows of major events in Joey's life that have molded the person she is. The question is can grow and change how she handles all life's difficulties?

Sucker for Lesbian romance

I’m a sucker for lesbian romance novels. It doesn’t take much for me to give more than 3 stars. So take my review with that in mind.

Great storyline that is just enough realism mixed with fiction. Easy to listen to and get involved with the characters. I’d recommend this book for those that also enjoy romance novels.

Great!

I loved Entangled. I love the description of Joey in her vineyard. I can imagine her horror at a gigantic resort in her little town. The story is great. Please tell me that the obvious tease at the end means there is another book coming. Melissa Sternenberg does an excellent job with the narration.

Absolutely Enjoyable.

I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I’ve read like 75% of Melissa Brayden’s books. I loved the original 4? Especially the Soho books. I haven’t enjoyed a single Melissa Sternenburg narration. I especially disliked the seven shore’s series. It didn’t do it for me and the subsequent MB/MS audiobooks so I gave up after Beautiful dreamer. Her voice is just too fast and not enough variety person to person.

My queue for books to read sat empty for a bit and I was desperate for a new series to read. My job almost demands a good audiobook. I finally decided on this one due to the reviews. This one started like the rest and I almost gave up on a seemingly good world building series opener. I decided to slow down the speed of the playback and bam, got into it.

This was a typical Brayden book. Y’all know what I mean, improbable pairing, hot and adorable romance, and an inevitable, unnecessary breakup. This one was fun though. I liked the characters and the journey and I found myself remembering why I loved Melissa Brayden’s stories, I am a romantic at heart. Her books are adorable and relatable if you have ever been in love. The main characters love interest is always dream woman. Jess from the soho series being my favorite being threatened by the amazing Becca. She was awesome. I am looking forward to the next two books in the series.

To sum it up, MBs books are like a warm blanket/happiness/a friend when it’s freezing, you’re sad, or lonely. Leaves you wanting to fall in love again…

Good

I think Lori Prince would have been the perfect narrator! I love Mellissa Brayden’s books and enjoying this series, but hard to listen over again with this narrator! Just saying!

Love the Vineyard

Another sweet romance with a little angst from Melissa Brayden, I enjoyed chemistry, beautiful setting, friends, and town side characters. I thought Melissa Sternengerg did a very good job with the narration. I'm looking forward to continuing this series and getting into Gabrielle and Madison's storylines and catching up again with Becca & Joey.

Wine Entangled with Romance

What a combination! I just adored the characters in this story definitely the mains but also my favorite character of all time Gabriela. Joey has a hard time and an even harder time believing in herself. Beca the well put together executive is the stabilization in the relationship. Madison the wine maker extraordinarie and best friend of Joey.
As a wine lover myself this story truly resonated. I thoroughly recommend this book and I am not surprised it won awards.

Brayden captivating, narration challenging

The opening paragraphs reminded me why I enjoy Melissa Brayden's writing, the way she paints the scenes and animates the heart-rich characters. Tangle Valley is an idyllic locale, and immediately I wanted to visit. The small-town characters are charming, and so perhaps I would like to live in that lovely community. Overall, I enjoy spending time in the worlds Melissa Brayden creates.

I had listened to all of Brayden's tales up to To the Moon and Back, with the Soho Loft series still my absolute favorite (different narrator). I adore Brayden's writing, but I had such problems with Sternenberg's narration. I kept thinking, just one more, but the narration was just too hard. Look, Sternenberg has a velvety tone, so that's good. But there's very little variance between character voices (pacing, tone, inflection) so I can't follow the dialogue. And male characters sound too much like femaie vocal registers. And the emotional range seems confined. So I stopped Brayden books for a couple years because the narration just doesn't work for me.

One good sale and I picked up the Tangle Valley series, because, well, I still adore Brayden's writing. I was captivated from the beginning. I appreciate the characters, the scenes, and the rich descriptors of daily life. So if you are okay with the narration, you will enjoy the book.
