About this listen
I don’t love him. I don’t even like him.I just want him.
Eli Loveless was my nemesis from the first day of kindergarten until we graduated high school. Everything I did, he had to do better—and vice versa. The day he left town was the best day of my life.
Ten years later, the day he came back was the worst.
Now he’s my co-worker.
Grown-up Eli Loveless is sexy as sin. He’s hotter than asphalt in the summer. The irritating kid I once knew is gone, and he’s been replaced by a man with green eyes, perfect abs, and a cocky smile.
It’s bad that I want him.
It’s worse that he wants me back.
There are looks. There are smirks. There are smiles that make my panties burst into flame.
And then there’s a shared kiss that leads to the hottest night of my life.
This is no office romance. This is a five-alarm fire.
What’s a girl to do when the man I can’t stand is the one I can’t stop lusting after?
Enter into a friends-with-benefits agreement, of course.
No dates. No relationship. Just blisteringly hot sex, because if there’s one person I could never fall for, it’s Eli....right?

Long time hate blossoms into love
Eli and Violet have been antagonist since school, always trying to outdo one another. When he returns home after many years travelling abroad, they find themselves working together.
When strange issues arise at their workplace they decide to join forces to find the culprit.
Top marks for the narrators who brought the story to life ❤

Loved it.
I loved the story, the banter, the inevitable falling in love…
The only problem I had was with the male narrator. His voice was so soft, the ends of his sentences were really quiet that I had to keep going back to repeat a lot of them.
Everything else was great.

What a listen!
This was my first audible, I’d never even wanted to listen to a book being read and always thought of it as taking away the magic of turning a page BUT this book, author, narrators, are absolute perfection! 100% changed my opinion of audio books

Violet and Eli!
Violet and Eli have competed with each other over everything since they started school and it didn’t matter how big or small the issue was. Their competition only escalated as time went on until they graduated high school, and each went their separate ways.
Ten years later Eli is back and town and let’s just say their reunion was quite memorable, but it is when they find themselves as co-workers that the games really begin!
These two were so adorable together as the sparks of antagonism between them turn into sparks of a different nature. Eli knew exactly what buttons to push to get a rise out of Violet, but his protective nature rose to the forefront when someone else tried to do the same. I really enjoyed the way the narrators brought out all the chemistry and humor of the characters interactions.
