Get out of the way of your overthinking.
The first thing I need to say, as a disclaimer, is that I know Michael personally, as such this review may seem somewhat biased -- but in all fairness, I spent several years attending Michael's weekly London groups and I did this for a reason.
Much of the content of this book is similar to the simple message that Michael offered every week at the meditation / personal empowerment groups mentioned above -- and if they were still running I would still attend, as the crazy world we live in means we can always benefit from keeping on top of our practice and connecting with likeminded individuals.
And yes, that message is simple -- get out of the way of overthinking (usually all thinking) and rather than being a slave to the chattering mind, learn to meditate and allow your real self (AKA Higher Self, God Self, Intuitive Mind) to run the show for us.
Of course, we may need to take positive action or follow other guidance -- but taking that action from a place of inspiration (i.e. that creative zone) is way more effective than trying to work something out from a place of worrying, when the worrying potentially influences or worsens the actual problem.
Sometimes we don't need to be seeking out the next spiritual guru, the next self-help guide or seminar, because we have all the solutions inside of us anyway.
This is not a book to cure everything that troubles you, but it will guide you towards finding solutions from a better perspective.
So, yes, a recommendation based on both the book and Michael's personal wisdom and insights.
