A great little diversion.
For what it is, it’s a great, funny little listen, but I was hoping for more ‘stories’ than just a list of facts like a dictionary.
Sometimes it’s a little repetitive as you get the same fact regarding the wife during her husbands turn and hers for example.
All in all though, would definitely recommend and listen to more of them.
The narrator perfectly suits the book.
This is my honest opinion of a free review copy.

More Egyptian Mythology explained
I enjoyed this book about Egypt's Mythology. I admit that at times Egyptian mythology can be confusing, especially because some of the names are very close to each other. This is a relatively simple read. The stories are well told and kept my interest.

A very quick introduction
Divided into four sections - the gods, the Pharoes, the ten plagues of Moses and general information - there is little time to dwell on any topic, but a lot is packed into this very short book. The names of some twenty gods are listed, with their attributes and an occasional associated story; the plagues, with explanations, are also given in full. Very few of the Kings (or queens) are given a mention, however, beyond, arguably, the most famous and it is a pity that the final section was very brief, mostly touching lightly on the Nile itself, mummification and The Book of the Dead. All was delivered by Jason Hunt, with a deliciously deep and plucky voice, replete with sardonic amusement, easy to enjoy.
On the downside, too much time was wasted on patronising jokes and references to Disney cartoons. Whilst this is a simple starter introduction to Egyptology and some humour is welcome, less would have made this subject to be one worthy of further examination.
I was fortunate in being freely gifted with a complimentary copy of this book, at my request. Thank you. A useful starter, especially for anyone interested in the multitude of Egyptian deities.

It does exactly what you'd expect.
This is a short introduction to the history of Ancient Egypt but covers a lot of the most salient points like Pharaohs and the gods, mummification and the importance of the Nile.
My daughter did work in school on Ancient Egypt last year and found this really useful, enjoyable and well presented.
