Summary

The new book from the author of the UK's number one dog book, Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy.

  • What should I expect when I adopt a rescue dog?
  • How can I stop my dog from barking at strangers?
  • How do I teach an older dog new tricks?

Steve Mann knows dogs. His incredible ability to understand dogs quickly has earned Steve the gratitude of more than 100,000 dogs and their owners everywhere, including a host of celebrities.

Easy Peasy Doggy Squeezy provides solutions to hundreds of dog-training problems, including socialising, excessive barking and recall. Steve passes on his wisdom gained from working with thousands of dogs throughout his career. He teaches owners how to work out what kind of pet carer they are and what techniques will work best with their pup. Believing that dogs need to be treated ethically, with good habits rewarded, Steve has developed a fun and practical programme that works with dogs however old they are and whatever their breed and personality.

Fabulous and fun book but issues with Audible version

Brilliant book as a follow on from Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy. I really enjoy Steve’s narrating and the training methods which focus on your relationship with your dog, down to earth and easy to follow methods which bring results.
I am really frustrated however that I cannot see the chapter headings, so if I want to go back on a subject I’ve no idea which chapter it’s in!

Doggie Gem 💎 🐾

Everything a dog owner ought to know explained in a nicely broken down and easy to understand way. Particularly like the thought gone into the order of training and the chapters on the subject of adolescence and castration, so glad an expert has been open enough to give an up to date measured opinion in a book. Thanks, i will be reading several times to take it all in 😊

Steve Mann is a great narrator and great at what he does

I was lucky enough to do a couple of Steve’s courses a few years ago so was really interested to listen to this. While I’m not sure the audiobook format is the best medium if you were training a dog, I would want a printed copy as well. Steve’s delivery, sense of humour and style make his advice memorable. His obvious passion for dogs and the work he does to help dogs and inspire their owners to want to have the best relationship with their dog is second to none.
