Summary

Brian Lumley's Cthulhu Mythos writings began in the 1960s when he was included in new collections by August Derleth's Arkham House. While today, the author is probably better-known for his Necroscope and Psychomech series, he has continued with his Mythos stories for over 40 years. This volume spans that career, using Derleth's suggestion that the Mythos monsters could be viewed as "Elementals", and includes a new novella-length story.

The Perfect Introduction to Lumley's Mythos Tales

This collection contains four excellent Cthulhu Mythos stories written by horror grand master Brian Lumley. Lord of the Worms & Born of the Winds are easily two of Lumley's best ever works in that universe, and the other two are also really strong. This makes Earth, Air, Fire & Water a great introduction to Lumley's work for new readers.
Once again, Joshua Saxon excels with his narration. He is the best Lumley narrator and my absolute favourite audiobook narrator.
Another excellent presentation from Crossroad Press.
Highly recommended.
