Cringeworthy
This book absolutely cringe worthy. There are entire chapters that are completely pointless and unnecessary. The main character is supposed to be 18 years old but acts like a 12 year old. His magic is also supposed to make him very intelligent but he acts completely naive all the time. If I had to count I’d bet that all of the main characters said “I’ll always be by your side” in the most cringeworthy way 10 times in the first 5 chapters. Also there are parts throughout this book where the main character keeps repeating themselves over and over.

Dragon Magus 2
This is so much better than the first Dragon Magus book. Love the fact that a lot of the characters came together as a whole to take on these enemies. Again, the narrator does a fantastic job at telling the story. So nice job on that. Also, that ending though is a bit rough but I still enjoyed it through and through. I look forward to the next Dragon Magus. :)

Too much manipulating
I really enjoyed first book the second changed up a bit and slowed down an 18 year old kid with 4 women fawning for him 2 of which are a couple centuries old, im ok with some romance enough with the mind games and let the story flow around the mc’s. I stopped 1/2 through because i got tired of some of the antics of side characters. I dont think its a bad book i just don’t think its the direction I thought the progression would follow
