About this listen
He was a one-night stand she was never meant to see again. But he’s back to ruin her life.
My life was simple until Vincent Cove, an (annoyingly hot) American billionaire, arrived. He wants to convert the English country mansion where I live and work into a glitzy hotel.
Over my dead body.
I’m just a small-town waitress, up against Vincent’s goliath fortune, but I won’t go down without a fight. I'm taking on this billionaire bulldozer.
If I’d known his plans I definitely (maybe) wouldn’t have slept with him. And I’m determined to ignore the chemistry growing between us.
Except his charm is distracting, his persistence is irritating and his forearms, sharp jaw and devilish smile are downright infuriating.
At least I don’t have to worry about him sticking around. A self-confessed rolling stone, he can’t commit to a lunch order before noon, so there’s no way he’ll hang around long enough for me to fall in love with him.
A stand-alone enemies-to-lovers small-town billionaire romance with a guaranteed HEA.

Loved Vincent & Kate's story ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I loved the first 2 books in this series so much (and have listened to both several times), so I was excited to start this one as soon as it came out. I loved it so much that I have listened to the whole book twice in 48 hours! It's wonderful ❤
Alternating between Funny, Romantic & Passionate, it's about two people who are both scarred by difficult childhoods, learning to trust in someone else.
Sebastian York & Clare Corbett are both wonderful, and very skilled narrators, and while, admittedly, he struggles a bit with voicing British accents in this book, and Clare with American accents, it was not at all tortured and making me wince. They both voice their own characters so brilliantly, that any struggles with the opposite accent are easily forgiven.
I will happily listen to this book several times over, and I'm already excited for the next ones in the series, which Louise Bay teases in her author's notes at the end of this audiobook 😊

Dr. CEO
This was my first book in the Dr. series, but not my first Louise Bay book.
I love the story and I love the huge contrast between Vincent and Kate.
But people living in two different worlds and have total different lifestyles, can fit together perfectly.
And I love the scenery in Crompton.
I really would like to be there :) I can see it right before me *swoon*
The narrators did a great job and I think their voices fit perfect for the maincharacters.

Fabulous
Such a lovely story Vincent an American, confident, rich businessman and Kate a very down to earth lovely English rose. They compliment each other in so many ways. His fear of commitment and her idiosyncrasies about change and the world outside of Compton.
But they work together and create a great working relationship but can they get more.
Love the other Coves popping into the story and so looking forward to the next book in the series
The narrators are great and really bring the story to life x

Very enjoyable
Thank you Louis Bay for choosing the Devine Sebastian York for Vincent and Clare Corbett as the very English Rose Kate. Loved the sense of humour in the story and all the English locations.
It was so interesting to hear the authors comments at the end.
Would have preferred it as a duet narration though.

Fabulous feel good romance!
Dr CEO is a steamy, feel good romance. It transports you to the English countryside where a close knit community makes for a host of very entertaining characters! I love Kate’s confidence when it comes to Vincent, who’s caring, compassionate and hot! It’s flirty, passionate and fun with fantastic narrators. I highly recommend this delightful heartwarming read!

Vincent
I love this series. The Cove family are just lovely. Vincent is the nephew accepted as a son & brother but he never really accepted it as true. Kate has restricted her life to one small corner of rural England out of fear. Together they bring the life back to their lives.

Dr. CEO
Another terrific romance book in the Dr. serise this time the American cousin get a look in and you find all his confidence hides a man with trust issue's. Until he falls for the waitress with issues of her own. This story gallons along as you hope they don't let their history let them down, as they fall in love and have to face their past at last. Read brilliantly again by Sebastian York and Claire Corbett who both tackled English and American accents like the natives.

English rose meets American CEO.
This series is such a fun one. Louise gives us a hint of emotional backstory with plenty of banter all set in the beautiful English countryside.
Kate is such a sweet English Rose but at the same time, she doesn’t take any rubbish from Vincent. I loved that she was able to put him in his place and not get all gooey because he was loaded. I think that’s what Vincent loved most about her, that she didn’t fawn all over him. He really had to work for it. And… she was so surprising with her honesty when it came to bedroom antics. Both characters have their challenges but they aren’t massive and over the top, they’re real and you get it. The story makes sense. There’s no drama just BECAUSE. It’s all really well thought out and adds to the story. And to have so many characters pop up again from this series and other ones was such a treat. Also I kind of love Granny.
Clare brings a youthfulness to Kate and for all the non-Brits I’m sure she’ll charm you with her accent. I am no longer charmed by Brit accents as they’re just so positively normal for me, sorry! Sebastian is great as the ruthless businessman with the softer centre.
A new addition to this audiobook that I wasn’t sad about was Louise's little chat at the end. She says she’s self-conscious about her voice and I have no idea why because it felt like home and completely natural. I always love hearing about the inspiration behind the books I read and getting the author’s personal take is a gift. Then we’re treated to a couple of bonus scenes. These are usually just for the eyeball readers, so it was great to get the audio versions too.
If you want to be transported to the charming small-village life with a local pub and tea room where everyone knows everyone, grab DR CEO. I think you’ll love it!
