Summary
The taste of dark magic was still on Lochlan's tongue. It had been centuries since he'd used the addictive power, but when Zemila's life was on the line, what choice did he have? And now, she won't even return his calls. Little did he know, she had bigger problems.
Zemila is an Earth Driver. She shouldn't be able to move manmade objects with her mind. That didn't stop her from breaking every car window on the block when she thought her kidnapper was stalking her again. But he is dead. She killed him. She had the nightmares to prove it.
All of that took a back seat when her brother went missing.

Loved this. From the story telling to the voice actors (once again hats off to the voice actors amazingly cast and amazing at telling the story and playing multiple characters)
This is a great addition to magic required it goes deeper we get more drama and a great story line and some good plot twists definitely will be re reading this multiple times

Fantasy at its finest
A fantastic second story in the series. Great characters and a very interesting storyline. I love how things are unfolding.
HS Paisley has really piqued my interest with this series. I hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next book!
Patrick Zeller and Addison Barnes have delivered another wonderful performance. They work very well together.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Amazing audio book
Another amazing audio book for this series! And again, it just grabs you and doesn’t let go! I finished this in one day. I could tear myself away from it! I love how the story continuously evolves and more and more is explained. The characters themselves are evolving and growing too. I loved the dual narrators. They both did a fantastic job!

Fantastic Narration
Loved book 2 just as much as book one. Both narrators do a fantastic job voicing the various characters with perfect tone and innovation. Enjoyed getting a glimpse at Lochland’s brother. Hoping book 3 gives Mila and Lochland the time they deserve together. Enjoyed watching them grow stronger even through all struggles. Great read but definitely start with book 1.

This book was so good I cannot wait for the next novel in the series
I liked the balance and pacing of this book, I enjoyed that felt watch more like an action movie than a mind bender like the first book dead. I cannot wait to continue this year.

Again perfect!
The magic continues.
Again a perfect story, the characters are evolving, the story gets bigger. It is impossible to put these books away, you just want to keep on listening. But again a cliffhanger, I hate cliffhangers ;)
I hope the third book will follow soon!
The narrators again a great job, very nice voices to listen to.
Just keep on doing what you are doing, because your story's are amazing!! I truly love them.

So good
I can’t decide which book I liked more the first one or this one, but I do have to tell you they both kept my attention, the entire time, the plot, the story, the characters and the chemistry were amazing. Really looking forward to more books by this author.

What an Ending!!
No!! Not another cliffhanger! I can't believe I have to wait to find out what happens to Lochlan and Samila. Patrick Zeller and Addison Barnes are so talented with their accents. This storyline is gripping!!

Even better than the first! RECOMMENDED (no spoilers)
While the first book was setting up H.S. Paisley’s intriguing characters and world, the second entry takes her story into new and unexpected places. I’m excited to see where the entry goes from here!
